Her seemingly constant flow of advice to the world on how to copy her wholesome lifestyle may not impress everyone.
But you can’t help but be impressed by the effects of healthy living on Gwyneth Paltrow’s body.
The 38-year-old mother of two looked a decade younger as she posed topless wearing just jewellery and a pair of fishnet tights in a revealing photoshoot for Vanity Fair magazine.
Her demure pose with her arms across her helped protect her modesty.
Stunning: Gwyneth Paltrow shows off her body in a photoshoot for Vanity Fair - where she wore nothing but Louis Vuitton jewellery and fishnet tights
She wore a Louis Vuitton necklace, earrings and rings, in the pictures for the magazine's jewellery supplement.
The pretty blonde had her hair up in a delicate knot and opted for natural make-up with smoky eyes.
Miss Paltrow looked lithe, toned and appear to show no trace of any stretch marks, which would be expected after having two children.
Dedication: Miss Paltrow appearance can be thanked to her lifestyle which sees her regularly rise at 4.30am to undertake exercise and yoga, plus eating healthily
The star, who regularly gets up at 4.30am to exercise, is famed for dedication to yoga and healthy-eating.
She said in a recent interview: 'I’m really not a morning person at all. It is just sheer determination. I’m very strict with myself. When I practice six days a week and eat clean food, I feel much better.’
The actress, who is married to Coldplay singer Chris Martin, has two children, apple, seven, and five-year-old Moses.
Celebrity guests: Gwyneth arrives at the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury alongside rapper Jay Z to watch his wife Beyonce perform at the festival. Gwyneth's husband Chris Martin performed the night before
She launched a lifestyle website GOOP in 2008 on which she writes her views, advice, and tips for leading a better life.
It has been criticised for its 'patronising' tone and advice that is unrealistic for people on ordinary budgets.
Magazine appearance: Miss Paltrow's revealing photoshoot appears in this month's Vanity Fair
Miss Paltrow, whose credits include Seven and the Iron Man franchise, has made the transition from actress to domestic goddess over the past couple of years, even releasing her own cookbook recently - Notes From My Kitchen Table.
She appeared on hit singing show Glee and has turned her hand to comedy on Saturday Night Live.
The star is also planning to launch a chain of gyms with her personal trainer Tracy Anderson, and this week was spotting dining with Sir Phillip Green prompting speculation she is in talks to design a fashion line for one of his high street store Wallis.
It is not the first time she has worked in fashion as she collaborated with French label ZOEtee’s on a capsule collection reflecting her own style in 2009.
Read the full interview with Gwyneth Paltrow in this month's Vanity Fair, which is published on Friday.

She hasn't set a foot wrong so far. But if we needed any reminder of the Duchess of Cambridge's flawless fashion instincts, her arrival in Canada this afternoon was surely it.
The 29-year-old chose a white and navy lace Erdem dress to touch down in Ottawa with her husband, Prince William, for her first overseas tour as a Royal wife.
Not only was it a stylish choice, it was a diplomatic one too. Erdem Moralioglu is based in London but was born in Canada, so it carefully references both nations.
All change: The Duchess of Cambridge left Heathrow Airport in London in a Roland Mouret dress and Smythe blazer (left) but on arrival in Ottawa, Canada, she had changed into a navy lace dress by Erdem (right)
The half-Turkish designer is also hot fashion property. His designs are a favourite with first ladies Samantha Cameron and Michelle Obama, as well as celebrities including Thandie Newton and Gwyneth Paltrow.
He is known for his feminine floral prints, though a single dress can cost upwards of £1,500.
The Duchess's dress is from the designer's resort 2012 collection, so is likely to be a sample, as stock will not hit stores until early next year.
But given that she is known for her glossy dark locks, it seems it could well have been designed with her in mind.
Mr Moralioglu described the collection as 'eerily composed' when it launched to the press last month.
Amazing lace: Catherine referenced both Britain and Canada in the dress by Erdem Moralioglu, who was born in Montreal, but bases his label in London. His fans include Samantha Cameron and Michelle Obama
He told Style.com: 'This is my brunette collection. Visconti trumps Hitchcock.'
Catherine wisely kept her accessories simple in nude patent platform pumps and a coordinating clutch bag.
Her hair, which would have been styled on-board by her hairdresser, James Pryce, was in a demi-chignon. It was a smart decision, keeping it free from her face despite the blustery breeze at Macdonald-Cartier International Airport.
Arriving in style: The couple's Canadian tour is Catherine's first official overseas trip as a Royal wife
Catherine also won style points on her departure from London this morning, in an elegant navy Roland Mouret shift, Smythe blazer Manolo Blahnik heels and a new-season Mulberry handbag.
The fact that she is not be travelling with a stylist or even a dresser is a mark of her confidence when it comes to fashion. She and her husband have a staff of just seven people for their tour of Canada and the U.S.
In lieu of a professional fashion expert, she has been taking Amy Eastell, the PA to her husband's private secretary, on shopping trips.
Style points: On her departure from London this morning, Catherine wore an elegant navy Roland Mouret shift, Smythe blazer, Manolo Blahnik heels and a new-season Mulberry handbag
She has been spotted at Alexander McQueen’s store in Clerkenwell, London, and Belgravia boutique Emilia Wickstead, where she bought off-the-peg, with prices starting at £350.
A source said Kate had also asked top designers to send clothes to look at. They said: 'She may well borrow clothes instead of buying to cut the costs of the tour.'
The source added: 'She’s planning on wearing one outfit a day unless she has an evening event.'
She is also believed to have used style advisers at Selfridges and Harvey Nichols. Her decision to buy her clothes at high-end retailers indicates that she may be stepping away from her favourite High Street labels, such as Reiss, Whistles and LK Bennett, in favour of designer pieces.

A windy welcome for William and Kate: Elegant Duchess steps from plane in figure-hugging dress to kick start Canada tour
- Kate takes 30 outfits for her nine days in Canada
- Thousands turn out to welcome the couple to Ottawa

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived in Canada after touching down at Ottawa Airport.
They walked from the plane on to the gusty runway as they embarked on their first official foreign visit, to be greeted by a host of dignitaries and a wall of photographers.
Canada's prime minister, Stephen Harper, unveiled a special flag in their honour - the first to be created by the Commonwealth country for a member of the royal family since 1962.
Elegant: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge walk down the steps of the Royal Canadian Air Force aircraft after they landed in blustery Ottawa this afternoon to begin their week-long tour
All smiles: Kate beams as she and Prince William land in Ottawa this afternoon on their first official foreign visit
The flag was given Prince William’s seal of approval and that of the Queen, who was the last royal to adopt one for her own use.
Kate had changed out of the navy Roland Mouret shift she wore at Heathrow into an elegant navy and white lace dress.
She deliberately chose her outfit to compliment her hosts, as it was designed by Erdem Moralioglu, a British designer born and raised in Montreal.
The duchess accepted a posy from a young boy on the tarmac and chatted to him for some time before moving along the line of dignitaries as William waited for a few moments in their car.
At ease: Kate smiles as she receives flowers from the Royal fans who lined up to meet the newlyweds at Ottawa's Macdonald-Cartier International Airport today. Tomorrow they will take part in National Canada Day
A natural: The Duchess of Cambridge again displayed her affection for children as she spent several minutes talking to Kellen Schlever, who presented her with a beautiful posy of pink roses
The couple landed at 2pm local time and were driven straight to Ottawa, where they were greeted by loud cheers as they arrived in a limousine car proudly sporting the new flag.
With a tight schedule ahead of them, they went straight to the National War Memorial to the grave of the unknown soldier to take part in a wreath laying ceremony.
The Last Post was sounded before a minute's silence was held and the Canadian flag lowered to half mast as bagpipes were played.
Tomorrow they will take part in Canada Day - a special day for William as it would have been his mother's 50th birthday. They will be opening the Calgary Stampede and canoeing in the Northwest Territories before flying to Los Angeles.
Official welcome: The Royal couple shake hands with Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird
Quick change: The Duchess of Cambridge boarded the plane at Heathrow in a navy-blue Roland Mouret dress, but by the time she landed she'd changed into an outfit by Erdem Moralıoglu, a Montreal-born designer
During the visit, Prince William will demonstrate his skills as a helicopter rescue pilot by performing a water landing. Later, they will head to Quebec City where they will don their aprons for a cooking workshop.
Tomorrow they will mark Canada Day and after their week-long tour of Canada they will jet to LA to host a gala dinner.
There, they will promote up-and-coming British film talent by introducing them to Hollywood executives.
The south Californian trip will include a $4,000-a-head three-course meal and charity polo match, giving revellers an opportunity to get close to the Duke and Duchess.
Great honour: A special flag created for the young Royal couple flew from the bonnet of their car. It's the first new flag to be designed by a Commonwealth country for a member of the Royal family since 1962
One has arrived: William's standard was waved out of the window from the Canadian Airforce plane when they landed in Ottawa
While Kate is not scheduled to speak officially at any of the events, William will say a few words on a number of stops.
A reminder of the couple's glittering wedding was on display in the windows of a grand Post Office building, overlooking the war memorial, which showcased large images of Canadian commemorative stamps marking the royal nuptials.
An image of William and Kate in a carriage on their way back from Westminster Abbey was featured on one of the souvenir collectables while the picture taken on the day they announced their engagement last November was on another.
Joyce Udell, 57, a diplomat with the Canadian Government, had delayed travelling home to St John's in Newfoundland in order to see the couple.
Warm welcome: Young Royal fans hold up a hand-painted banner as they eagerly await Kate and William's arrival in Ottawa. They arrived early in the morning to ensure they had the best spot
Flying the flag: Will and Kate fans line up at the National War Memorial in Ottawa, where the young couple laid a wreath at the grave of the unknown soldier and observed a minute's silence
She said: 'I don't like to use the word admire but I like her style, I like both their styles, they're not as ostentatious as some in the royal family.
'Kate, she reinvents herself with her clothes and wears the same dress twice - which the royals don't do.
'They are going to be a fabulous king and queen in the future. They are obviously in love and I think that's where their strength lies.'
Cherie Gray, 50, a by-law enforcement officer from the town of Manitouwadge, Ontario had made a six-hour detour while on holiday in the national province with husband David, 51, to see the royal couple.
She said: 'We're so excited to be here and hopefully to meet Kate - she brings a new revival to the royal family and represents the younger generation.'

Simon Cowell gives Nicole Scherzinger a cake with his face on it for her birthday
Ego alert! Simon Cowell gives Nicole Scherzinger a cake with his face on it for her birthday
By Daily Mail Reporter
Last updated at 6:36 AM on 30th June 2011
It should have been the icing on the cake but instead Simon Cowell's birthday surprise for Nicole Scherzinger took the biscuit.
The sardonic talent show don waited until the last minute of the second day of Seattle auditions to give his fellow judge her treats.
Today she turned 33, and was apparently so keen to celebrate the milestone with her new colleagues that she's issued constant reminders.
Brave Face: Nicole smiles after receiving Simon's joke T-shirt in Seattle today
The Pussycat Doll even emailed Simon last night, lest he forget.
She needn't have worried, as the irascible judge was planning to have his fun with her.
After flowers from L.A Reid and a 500-strong rendition of Happy Birthday from the audience led by Paula Abdul, not to mention plenty of teasing from Simon, he finally handed over his 'gifts.'
First up was cake with a picture of him on it and just one candle, he then followed it up with a T-shirt also featuring his visage, with the additional detail 'I heart' detail on it.
Nicole smiled broadly as she held up the joke garment, but it seemed she was expecting something more from the billionaire.
Destroyed: The image of Simon was defiled on the birthday cake
So perhaps the state of the cake, which was photographed and uploaded to Simon's Facebook account, betrayed her real feelings.
The image had been roundly defiled, all in the name of fun, we're sure.
An insider confirmed that she was disappointed: 'I think Nicole might have been expecting something fancy.
'Simon’s face on a cake and T Shirt probably wasn’t exactly it, but no doubt she will get her own back when his birthday comes around!'
But Nicole still got quite a fuss, nonetheless.
No less than four groups asked to sing special versions of Happy Birthday in their bids to impress her.
Birthday Girl: Nicole enjoyed an epic rendition of Happy Birthday today, led by fellow judges - including Paula Abdul
It was an emotional day for the newest member of the panel, who admitted she's still getting her head around her fantastic new job.
The singer, who was wearing a stunning silver mini-dress and had her hair swept up on her head, said: 'I am so excited, I woke up this morning and its my birthday, I have an amazing job working with three of the most wonderful people in the world that I have ever met... '
Before joking: 'Well two actually – and then there’s Simon too!'
Smug: Simon secretly contemplates his cunning plan
She reserved extra praise for Paula Abdul, Scherzinger gushed: 'She is my idol and she wished me happy birthday today! '
'And now I get to sit next to her, and stare at her in a kinda creepy way, I think, and just because I just love her so much'
One insider said: 'Nicole has been reminding everyone for weeks that her birthday is coming up and she even emailed Simon last night to remind him so he wouldn’t forget when he arrived at work today, she as so cute'
But it was L.A. Reid who welcomed her with a big bunch of flowers, while Simon is keeping his big surprise under wraps.
Today is Scherzinger's actual birthday but she already started celebrating in earnest at the weekend in Vegas.
Serenade: Nicole thanks the crowd for birthday song
The beauty, who is dating F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, enjoyed a daytime event and then partied the night away at TAO Nightclub at the Venetian hotel.
For the evening event she looked stunning in a glittering mini dress which she paired with taupe shoes and bag.
Her long raven hair in soft curls which cascaded over her shoulders.
In the day, Scherzinger was presented with an an amazing five-tiered cake decorated in gold and pink with her name in glittering letters perched on the side.
The cake was covered in musical symbols, a microphone and the second tier even featured a corset
But it probably could've benefited from Simon's face.
Celebrate: The birthday girl got started at the weekend in Vegas
