Notoriously private about her personal life, new X Factor judge Tulisa Constavlos rarely opens up about any love interests.

And that dedication to privacy was stepped up yet further when she started dating N-Dubz band mate, Fazer (real name Richard Rawson).

But in an in-depth new interview, Tulisa has finally revealed her true feelings.

Talking to The Sunday Mirror, Tulisa confessed: 'I'm really happy and have the best boyfriend- he's really supportive in what I'm doing with the show [X Factor]'

'He's my rock- he's been there for me throughout the past few months. I couldn't be doing what I'm doing without him,' the star revealed.


The pair have barely been apart since they formed N-Dubz with Tulisa's cousin (and Fazer's best friend) Dappy 12 years ago.

Yet their very secretive romance only began relatively recently.

They started dating in May last year, but made a pact never to discuss their relationship publicly.

A source at the time claimed that the pair had been sleeping together on and off for a while previously, but that things had intensified while on tour.

The couple were apparently worried about the potential reaction from fans, and feared that though they loved each other, things might not work out if the public response was negative.

This perhaps explains their very professional front- when performing with N-Dubz for example neither Tulisa nor Fazer give any hint of amorous feelings.

It must be a relief to Tulisa that fazer has proven such a stalwart supporter of her new role as an X Factor judge.

In her Mirror interview, Tulisa also spoke about how intimidating it was to work directly with Simon Cowell, as her future on the show depended on him.

'If the viewers didn’t gel with me, ­Simon would have got rid of me. That thought scared the s*** out of me,' the singer revealed.

'But he sent me a text after the first show and said he was completely happy and there were no notes for improvements. So I guess I passed!'

Always ready with a little attitude, the 23-year-old added: 'But I’m not scared of Simon. I’m a cheeky character. He’s like this big boss strutting around but he forgets I’m ‘The Female Boss’. I call him Si and ­constantly wind him up.'

Endearingly Tulisa, whose slightly more bolshy approach has proved the perfect foil to Kelly Rowland's super cute presence on the judging panel, also admitted that she had been afraid of comparisons with the former Destiny's Child star.

'There’s no competing with Kelly, but I don’t want people saying I look like a train wreck,' she said modestly.

Giving a hint as to the American star's secret for staying in such great shape, Tulisa added: 'Kelly carries a bag of ­carrots and celery around and keeps ­offering me them. She’s ­constantly eating as she works out so much.'

But the real test was whether Tulisa could prove a valid replacement for the nation's sweetheart, Cheryl Cole.

Thankfully, the former judge has been supportive of Tulisa throughout, for which the N-Dubz singer is eternally grateful. On Cheryl's response to Tulisa's X Factor debut, she revealed:

'Cheryl saw the show on ­Saturday and sent a text saying: ­‘Congratulations for your first show. You’ve got a great response from everyone and you did great.'

'I could have become Britain’s most hated woman for replacing Cheryl, but having her support has made all the difference,' said Tulisa.

The star has clearly settled into her role.

She tweeted during last night's show: 'Johnny has brought back memories! Smiling 2 myself! Wasn't he a shocka? I MISS AUDITIONS!!! X'

Though still shy about her role, with a little persuasion she was able to relax and enjoy watching.

'U know what I could lie but not guna! @GarethVarey has dragged me 2 the sofa 2 watch the show 2nit! I cringe when I watch myself!#winehelps' she tweeted.

However despite support from Cheryl, Simon and crucially Fazer, Tulisa has hinted that there is drama in store to come later in the series.

'The last thing I thought was that I’d be crying on national TV,' she said.

Keen to distinguish herself as a new addition, she added: 'It wasn’t just a Cheryl tear. We’re talking floodgates. I couldn’t stop.'

After a stressful few days, a night out was exactly what the doctor ordered.

Michelle Keegan hit the town in Manchester last night looking ready to leave all her worries behind her in a stunning bodycon bandage dress.

And to judge from the Coronation Street star's Twitter page, she left no holds barred during the night's festivities.

The actress tweeted this morning: '.... Oh my god! Not even funny!! Wow! 1st n last I tell ya! X'

Accompanied by a friend, the long-legged star looked cheerful and very well groomed as she hit the town, ready for a fun night.

Her long dark hair was complemented by gold chandelier earrings, and she accessorised her dress with a pair of matching leg-lengthening nude heels.

The star was in need of unwinding following claims that she had a vicious outburst when a fan had tried to flirt with her boyfriend, Max George from The Wanted, during the V Festival.

Worse for wear? Though Michelle claimed she felt terrible this morning, she certainly started her night looking groomed to the nines

According to a Sunday newspaper, Michelle reduced a young fan to tears by accusing her of flirting with her Max.

The source said: 'Michelle stormed off and Max went off after her. She was fuming.'

It seemed as if the fight caused a 'real scene', but Max followed the crying girl to make sure she was ok.

However when the story broke in the paper yesterday the 'crying girl' in question took to Twitter to deny claims that Michelle had mistreated her.

Chloe Hannah, 18, tweeted Michelle: 'hi its chloe my mum wants to sue the newspaper obv id been hit the face so i was bound to cry i no the truth xxx

The actress replied: '.... @ChlloeeRockstar hahaha! Hi darlin can't believe you've been dragged into this c**p, at least we know EXACTLY went on! xxxxx'

Clearly thrilled to have received a reply, Chloe wrote back: 'yeah haha i had a great time thankyou! and thankyou for helping me aswell you both cheered me riight up xxxxxxx'

The pair certainly didn't appear to bear grudges, and were united in their account of a much more amicable exchange at V festival.

It appears that Michelle had simply cheered Chloe up when she saw that she was upset.

'oh YES u were standing outside the doors near the stage n we were telling u to go back out n not let it ruin ur night!,' she replied to the fan.

She has been charming Britain with her witty personality and sparkling charisma as a judge on the X Factor.

And last night Kelly Rowland returned to the U.S stepping out in style at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The former Destiny's Child singer looked absolutely show-stopping in her plunging Falguni & Shane Peacock dress.

The short frock boasted a feathered skirt, long sheer sleeves and gold embellishment and Kelly teamed the stunning outfit with a pair of spiky black Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels.

The X Factor judge isn't the only star to step over to the dark side for the award ceremony and the singer was joined by Britney Spears, Zoe Saldana and Selena Gomez were also sporting the mysterious look.

Selena was just one of many female celebrities who chose to wear black for the evening - in fact black was the dominant colour on the carpet.

She accessorised with snake skin heels by Balenciaga and a gold clutch.


Other ladies who turned to the dark side included singers JoJo, Adele, Rebecca Black and Jessie J while Jersey Shore's J-Woww put a spin on the following in a dark metallic wing-sleeved cocktail dress with a plunging neckline.

Metallic dresses seemed to be a favourite of the Disney stars with both Demi Lovato and Victoria Justice rocking sequinned silver minis.

There were some celebrities who chose to add a splash of colour to the otherwise dark carpet fashions.

E! host Maria Menounos dazzled in a bright green draped dress which showed off her tanned skin and lean legs.

Jersey Shore's Snooki out her assets on display in a curve defining orange and gold strapless design by Lending luxury and rapper Kreayshawn added a touch of cute with a fun Disney themed dress.

While both newlywed Kim Kardashian and Miley Cyrus bucked the cocktail dress trend by choosing long floor length and backless gowns.

Beyoncé has revealed she is expecting her first baby.

The singer made the surprise announcement as she debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards tonight.

Wearing a long orange gown by Lanvin, the 29-year-old clutched her visible bump and told assembled press: 'I have a surprise!'

The singer didn't let her pregnancy prevent her from bringing the house down with an energetic performance.

She cheered on her husband Jay-Z, who performed new single Otis with Kanye West, before taking to the stage herself.

Arriving onstage in a purple glittery blazer and black trousers by Dolce & Gabbana, the mother-to-be said: 'I want you to feel the love that's growing inside of me.'

After a fabulous performance of Love On Top that attracted a standing ovation from the audience, Beyoncé ripped open her jacket and proudly rubbed baby bump.

The cameras panned to the audience where Jay-Z was beaming, as his friend Kanye jumped up and down, smacking the father-to-be on the back and shaking him.

Beyoncé performed at the Roseland Ballroom in New York on August 14, and covered up her stomach with a sheath of fabric that draped lightly across her protruding bump.

The announcement comes after a stellar summer for the Grammy-winner in which she headlined Glastonbury and released another hit album, 4.

Beyoncé, who has won 16 Grammy awards, said in a recent interview that she feels she has achieved enough in her career to settle down and make family a priority.

'When you're young - 18 or 19 - you have the energy and drive. That's the time to work as hard as you can,' she told the September issue of In Style.
