She's famous for her old Hollywood glamour and classical good looks.
And Scarlett Johansson showed off both to their best effect tonight as she attended the Dolce and Gabbana show for Milan's Womenswear Fashion Week.
Though it is not normally a star studded occasion, the 26-year-old still made a sterling effort, looking stunning as she posed before the show.
Glamour: Scarlett Johansson looked stunning last night in a pale pink lace dress before Dolce & Gabbana women's Spring-Summer 2012 show in Milan
The actress's dress fitted her curved form perfectly, showing off her toned stomach and slender calves.
A transparent portion of lace around her neckline preventing the modest below-the-knee length of Scarlett's dress from looking frumpy, and gold heels added a touch of sparkle.
The star wore her bobbed hair in soft waves, creating a more modern take on a classic twenties style.

Scarlett lady: The actress's bright red lipstick added a splash of sex appeal to her ensemble

Scarlett watched the show alongside Italian model Bianca Brandolini d'Adda in the front row.
Milan Fashion week doesn't usually boast a long celebrity guest list.
Break from the norm: Milan Fashion Week isn't usually a celeb-heavy event
Diligent Scarlett stepped out to show her support as a spokesmodel for Dolce & Gabbana cosmetics.
She has held the role since 2009, and appears in the brand's recent advertisements for the Autumn/Winter Sweet Temptations line.
The busy star was recently spotted filming her new film The Avengers in New York, alongside co stars Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner.

Her next film, We Bought a Zoo, is due to be released this Christmas, and also stars Matt Damon.
She has also endured some stress lately since a Los Angeles street artist started using nude pictures of her in his work.
Though the actress's lawyers have reportedly issued legal threats over the matter, a spokesman for the artist has said: 'I've received a cease and desist letter, but they're never acted on when it's claimed as an art piece.'
Lady in black: Scarlett later changed into a corseted black dress for another event in Milan
Dressing up: The pretty dress highlighted Scarlett's enviable curves and tiny waist
FEMAIL VERDICT ON THE DOLCE & GABBANA SHOW
We pity those who went to yesterday's Dolce & Gabbana show on an empty stomach (and let's face it, it's Milan Fashion Week, we're guessing there were a few of them dotted around).
The Italian duo's inspiration clearly came directly from their local market with aubergine, tomato, courgette, chilli and carrot prints making appearances in several different mouth-watering incarnations.
Crop tops, hot pants, sun-dresses and beautiful flowy chiffon gowns were all emblazoned with the colourful designs.
Monochrome fabrics were also used for Chanel-inspired skirt-suits, and work-appropriate flattering dresses.
The amount of work that went into the beaded hotpants, bodies, crop tops and corsets was as impressive as the elaborately-lit multi-coloured backdrop.
They also show that the washboard stomach is here to stay. Make the most of your gym membership this winter as next summer there will be even more midriff on display.
Our favourite touches, though, were the pasta earrings. At last a look we can recreate, Blue Peter style, with the contents of our kitchen cupboards...
