They've become a huge pop success since they broke on to the scene three years ago both in their professional and personal lives.

But the Saturdays didn't look like they had much to be happy about as they left their manager's office last night looking very miserable.

However, with rumours abound that the girls are to take a two-year break at the end of their upcoming tour, their long faces would explain a lot.

Una Healy, Mollie King and Vanessa White sported glum faces as they left the the house in London and silently made their way home.

Vanessa seemed to be the most upset as she pulled her hoodie right over her head and kept her head down as she clutched a 2012 Saturdays calendar.

And when asked by the photographers if she was looking forward to her two years off, she wouldn't comment and kept quiet as she walked past.

Mollie cuddled close to her poodle Alfie close to her and wouldn't raise a smile and she and her pet pooch climbed into her car.

And Una, who announced last week that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Ben Foden, got straight into her car without a word.

She opened a CD - which turned out to be Nicola Roberts' solo debut album - and put it on before she drove away, not looking up at the cameras.

Frankie Sandford and Rochelle Wiseman were not seen, possibly having left early or not made it to their manager's place at all.

It came as a surprise to see the girls look so down, especially as they always have sunny dispositions and always have a smile or a cheeky face to pull for the cameras.

But it might have something to do with rumours that emerged yesterday that the girls are planning to take a two-year break once they have completed their All Fired Up tour in December.

According to fansshare.com, the hiatus will last at least two years which may have been prompted after Una announced she was pregnant.

Rather than go on without her, some of the group are believed to be interested in pursuing solo work, just like girl band before them Girls Aloud.

But according to the website, the Saturdays are insisting that they will get back together again once the time is right.
