She's Married The Night! Lady Gaga goes to the moon and back as she scoops best female at the MTV Europe Music Awards

Lady Gaga scooped the Best Female Award at the MTV Europe Music Awards tonight in Belfast.
And true to form, she took to the stage for a stunning performance which showed exactly why she beat Adele, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Katy Perry to the post.
Gaga gave an epic rendition of Marry The Night, playing a satellite landing on the moon.

Huge flames behind her band added to the otherworldly atmosphere, and Gaga pressed herself against the sphere while black leather-clad dancers writhed in front of her.
The performance perfectly captured the lyrics of the song, which begin: 'I'm gonna marry the dark, I won't give up on my life, I'm a warrior queen, live passionately tonight.'

Lady Gaga appeared in a spectacular silver and black outfit to accept her Best Female award from David Hasselhoff.
The star cheekily complimented the Hoff on the size of his manhood before thanking her Little Monsters for their support.

Gaga also won the Best Song award for Born This Way and together with her 'little monsters' she also scooped the gong for biggest fans.
She accepted her best song award for the title track of her second album from actress Hayden Panettiere saying: 'I knew that this song was very special when I wrote it... I just didn't know how special it would be.'
'I love you Little Monsters, until the end!'
The singer also scooped the Best Video award for the same song.

Gaga tweeted her excitement in anticipation of the show earlier today, writing: 'Warming up with my choreographer Richard Jackson, singing + pinning garments till the last moment. So excited for The Night, gonna Marry It.'
The singer has a lot to live up to, her previous on-stage escapades having consistently raised audience expectations.
Gaga famously arrived at the Grammys in an egg in February and sent shockwaves worldwide with her notorious meat dress at the Video Music Awards last year.
