Strictly flawless: Alesha Dixon is new face of Avon

She's unlikely to be doing any door-to-door selling but Alesha Dixon has just been announced as the latest face of Avon.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge showed off her flawless skin for the cosmetics campaign.
The 33-year-old has been given a newly created role as the Beauty and Empowerment Ambassador for the UK and Ireland.
She will also act as spokeswoman for Avon's make-up category and support domestic violence initiatives.

Avon UK has donated over £500,000 to its charity partners Refuge, Women’s Aid and UN WOMEN, to help end violence against women.
Alesha will look to help increase that figure next year by promoting the british brand's Empowerment product .
She joins a line of celebrities that represent the beauty giant, including actress Reese Witherspoon and Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie.
Alesha said: 'I’m so incredibly proud to partner with Avon, a company that empowers women and brings beauty to their lives.

Her first beauty campaign will see her launching the brand’s latest foundation innovation, Ideal Flawless.
The Ideal Flawless range will offer Avon’s widest shade selection with Alesha appearing in brochures from February 2012.

Alesha shot to stardom when The BBC controversially chose her to join the Strictly panel in 2009 to replace 67-year-old Arlene Phillips.
She was chosen following her success as a contestant on the show in 2007 when she won the competition with professional dancer Matthew Cutler.
The singer has reworked Dame Vera Lynn's classic Second World War anthem We'll Meet Again to support the Poppy Appeal.
