'Everyone is horny!' Alesha Dixon gets graphic about Strictly after drinking a whole BOTTLE of wine on Alan Carr's Chatty Man

She's a picture of professionalism when on duty as a judge during BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.

But normally cool and composed Alesha Dixon lost control a little after she was offered a glass of wine on Alan Carr's Chatty Man last night.

As she worked her way through the rest of the bottle, the star offered her- extremely frank- thoughts on Strictly romances, the X Factor, and whether dancers are better in bed over the course of the rambunctious interview.

Things kicked off when Bruno accepted Alan's offer of a rosé, quipping 'Oh if you twist my arm', before admitting 'I'm anybodies after two glasses.'

Alesha took her generous helping with a civilised 'that looks lovely', while Craig demurred 'if it's the rosé'.

However things took a turn for the tipsy when Alesha let the boys shoulder most of the burden at the start of the interview, sipping steadily away as she sat between them.

The first sign of high spirits came when Alan asked the threesome how close they were to getting Pippa Middleton onto the show.

can I tempt you? Everyone on the sofa was keen to quench their thirst

Alesha emitted a gleeful cackle, leaning back into the chair before agreeing enthusiastically to Bruno's suggestion that Alan should appear on Strictly.

Alesha admitted that she thought a 'boy could win this year', candidly saying 'The reality is, all the girls really like Harry.'

When Alan said that he felt sorry for aging dancer Anton de Beke Alesha, who'd nearly finished her tall glass of wine within a few minutes - interrupted with 'I don't' before bursting into yet more giggles.

Getting into her stride: Alesha drank the bulk of her first glass within minutes

She then plunged into juicier territory, declaring: 'Everybody is really frisky on the show though, you've got to be honest.'

She continued: 'Everybody is horny - the year I was a contestant everyone was really gagging for it' - at which point Bruno removed her now empty glass from her hand, exclaiming 'no more drink for you!'

Alan gasped 'This is chat show gold!', frantically grabbing the bottle to refill her glass.

Going to your head? Alesha was unable to stop laughing as her wine took effect

Two steps ahead, Alesha snapped 'give me the bottle'- seizing it with one hand and taking a long swig- lasting several seconds.

As Bruno and Craig collapsed with laughter Alesha picked up where the conversation had left off.

The audience still clapping, she ploughed on: 'As I was saying, eight to ten hours a day, rubbing up next to each other, of course you're going to get a bit frisky!'

Take it away! Bruno removed Alesha's glass as things started getting rowdier

Alan then pointed at Bruno, exclaiming 'look, he's touching himself!' - to which the Italian replied: 'I can't help it, she gets me going!'

Bruno then commented on Alesha's claim, saying 'I've done it for nine years and I've never seen any boner.'

Alesha immediately rebuffed him, saying 'dancing is a very flirtatious sexual thing. Every year somebody gets together!'

'This is chat show gold!': Alan couldn't wait to pour Alesha another glass as her answers became increasingly graphic

She then contradicted herself, backtracking 'Well no-one this year, although there's always a rumour. I've not heard anyone this year. Boring.'

Alan then asked them whether they thought that good dancers are better in bed - to which Alesha enthusiastically replied: 'Well I should think so Alan!'

At this, Bruno removed the (nearly empty) bottle from her hand, and Alan showed the group a unbelievably raunchy clip from the Argentinian version of Strictly Come Dancing.

Throwing herself into the debate: Alesha said that the problem with X Factor is 'they focus too much on the drama, and everything else other the singing'

His tipsiest guest was stunned into a brief moment of calm by the sight of contestants across the pond gyrating naked on stage, but it wasn't long before she was back on exuberant form.

When Alan mentioned X Factor, Alesha gave a little victory jiggle, before diplomatically commenting 'I don't understand why we can't just enjoy both shows, I actually don't think the public give a sh**. It's the producers and the media. The public will just sky plus one and watch it later, they don't care.'

Alan commended her saying 'I can't believe Alesha's become the voice of reason after a whole bottle of wine!'

Rude not to? Alesha enthusiastically accepted Alan's offer of the whole bottle

He may have spoken too soon however, as Alesha continued 'The problem is Al, they focus too much on the drama, and everything else other the singing.'

Alan intercepted with 'You see at this point you've crossed the line from being a fun drunk to a violent one'.

Alesha took this in good humour, laughing uproariously once again before excusing herself 'you know what it is, I just feel like I'm at home with my mates having a gossip'.

Telling it like it is: When Alan asked whether dancers are better in bed Alesha immediately replied 'Well I should think so Alan!'

She then added: 'It's swings and roundabouts, next year they'll be beating us, the year after we'll beat them, who cares! Jog on Christmas.'

At this Bruno laughed 'If you can't beat them, join them, and downed his own drink.

A more bashful Alesha later took to Twitter to excuse her uncharacteristic behaviour.

She wrote: 'Apologies for being pickled on Alan Carr! I did have fun though!'

'I am officially a light weight and clearly a cheap date!!! :) xxx'

Michael McIntyre or Holly Willoughby? Which presenter is the worst value for money?

By Chris Hall

Last updated at 10:00 PM on 13th August 2011

Multiply a presenter’s airtime by their audience. Divide that figure into their salary. In our version of Celebrity Squares, sadly, biggest does not mean best...

Enlarge The league table of value for money
Above, the league table of value for money. This shows A) each presenter's audience-hours for 2010 (how many hours they spent on air multiplied by their average audience); B) their reported salary, and their final score (B divided by A), which equates to the size of their picture

What really makes a popular presenter?

You might find them witty, erudite and charming – or they might set your teeth on edge. Some of you might swear blind that Alan Carr is the best thing on TV – there’s no accounting for taste.

But what happens when you take a slightly more objective look at the world of broadcasting?

We analysed the reported salaries of several household names from the world of TV and radio compared with the number of audience hours (see right for details) they racked up in the course of a year, to result in a rough coefficient of ‘value for money’ – excluding those whose shows clearly require a disproportionate amount of preparation time off-camera.

The unfortunate top spot is occupied by Chris Tarrant, who remains on a highly lucrative retainer at ITV, despite Millionaire no longer attracting the audiences it once did.

At the other end of the scale are the breakfast radio presenters – like them or loathe them, Chris Evans, Chris Moyles and John Humphrys put the hours in and rack up the listeners like no one else.

* For ease of use, the final score (right) has been scaled up by a factor of 1,000

After her storming Glastonbury performance, Beyonce performed an exclusive album release concert for her fans and members of the industry.

The singer released her new album "4" today.

Jade Ewen, Adele, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jay-Z and Denise Lewis were just some of the celebs that were present.

There was no setlist for tonight's show with all the cues coming from the audience.

In the clip, Bey performs "Run The World (Girls)", her next single "Best I Never Had", "1+1", "Single Ladies" and "Halo".

Jade Ewen, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessie J are among an all-star cast at Beyoncé's special one-off (but the singer still owns the show)

At the weekend she was the star attraction at the UK'S biggest festival, Glastonbury, but last night Beyoncé held a special one-off gig in London for a very select few.

And some of the nation's most famous faces made a beeline for the album showcase which was held at the Shepherd's Bush Empire in west London.

Top-selling artists Jessie J, Adele and Tinie Tempah led the charge for the British, while close friend Gwyneth Paltrow, Jay-Z and some of the cast members of Glee represented the U.S. contingent.

Other stars who appeared at the concert, where Beyoncé showcased songs from her forthcoming album, included Ewan McGregor, Alexandra Burke, Stella McCartney, Sugababes star Jade Ewen, JLS singer JB, Paloma Faith and comedian Steven K Amos.

Gwyneth, 38, wore a loose-fitting blue floral print dress that showed off her great legs - perfect for yesterday's hot weather.

She completed the outfit with a brown leather belt and matching strappy heels.

Most importantly Beyoncé's mother Tina made an appearance, as did her husband Jay-Z.

Jessie J hobbled into the show on a pair of crutches, she picked up a broken foot just before her show at the Summertime Ball in London two weeks ago.

The 23-year-old singer had her hair swept back into a harsh, Victoria Beckham-style do. She wore a garish Versace-esque blazer with a black leotard decorated with coloured gems across the chest.

Alexandra Burke's outfit was equally as colourful, comprised of a dress made with various coloured panels.

Jade Ewen threw on an unusual floral print dress with leather studded straps across the front. Her shoes were equally obscure, with sheer panelling revealing her feet inside.

Her fellow Sugababes bandmates were absent from the night's proceedings, so Jade flew the flag for the girl group on her own.

Paloma Faith, who is famed for her unusual taste in fashion, didn't disappoint with another outlandish outfit consisting of a sheer cream top with tiled detail, glittering hotpants and an odd-looking furball hat.

Adele kept it typically understated with her long black blazer, matching leggings and a muted multi-coloured top.

Stella McCartney, Kills singer Alison Mosshart, Meg Matthews and TOWIE star Maria Fowler were also on hand to fill the female contingent.

Meanwhile Tinie Tempah and Tom Ford were the main man at the event.

The British rapper cruised into the Shepherd's Bush Empire wearing a smart denim jacket, a white vest, camouflage shorts and a pair of retro white Nike Air Jordan trainers.

Tom Ford oozed star appeal in an ultra smart black suit, white shirt and black sunglasses. The fashion designer invited Beyonce to appear in one of his catwalk shows earlier this year.

Alan Carr, Duncan James, JB from boyband JLS, Ewan McGregor, comedian and Reggie Yates made up the numbers for male stars.

Glee stars Chris Colfer, Mark Salling and Kevin McHale also turned out for the star's amazing show.

Inside the venue there was said to be a problem with seating as Adele and Jessie J were allegedly moved from their front row seats when Jay-Z and Gwyneth Paltrow arrived.

Adele later moved back to the front, while Jessie remained in the back row.

The show itself was a spectacular colourful display with Beyoncé running through tracks from new album 4.

Earlier in the day the singer, who closed Glastonbury with a storming performance on the Pyramid Stage at the weekend, looked none the worse for her onstage exertions as she arrived for a shopping spree today at Harrods in London.

The star was getting in some last minute bits and bobs before yet another gig, hitting Harrods in Knightsbridge in a sunny tangerine-coloured fitted dress.

Queen Bee, who was wearing summery white platform court shoes, was beaming broadly too - perhaps she'd been reading the reviews of her performance last night, which got a resounding thumbs up.

She had also apparently recorded an interview for Piers Morgan's Life Stories during the day, so can't have had much of a lie-in following her incredibly energetic hour-and-a-half long headlining set at Worthy Farm on Sunday night.

Meanwhile, her rap star husband Jay-Z joined the likes of the Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge as he sat with the crowds watching Andy Murray beat Frenchman Richard Gasquet in straight sets at Wimbledon today.

The 99 Problems star was cool and casual in the oppressive London heat on what was the hottest day of the year so far in the UK, wearing a crisp military-style shirt and camouflage cropped trousers.
