Mrs Claus for a cause! Pregnant Chantelle Houghton is a sexy Santa as she ditches the lettuce leaves for festive Peta protest

Earlier this year she stripped off with just a load of lettuce leaves protecting her modesty as she protested for animal rights.

And while Chantelle Houghton still has her vegetarian values, this time she took a stand in something a little more suitable for a mother-to-be.

The reality TV star showed off her baby bump as she protested outside a luxury food store about their continued sales of foie gras.

The 28-year-old was dressed as a sexy Santa in a short red and white dress with a cape.

It was short enough to show off her toned long legs but modest enough to cover her, a suitable choice for the pregnant star.

Chantelle, who is expecting her first baby with fiancé Alex Reid, was protesting outside Fortnum and Mason in London.

She has joined forces with PETA - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals - to help with their campaign against the sale of foie gras and encourage shoppers to sign an enormous Christmas card urging the department store to end its sale of the product.

The French delicacy is made from the liver of a duck or goose that has been specially fattened through force-feeding the animal.

Chantelle said: 'I'm dreaming of a kind Christmas – one where foie gras is nothing but a ghost of Fortnum & Mason's past. As the signatures on our Christmas card will show, British shoppers know that this cruel product has no place on British shelves.'

In March, she also teamed up with the organisation to promote PETA’s vegetarian and vegan starter kits – to try and encourage people to choose vegetables over meat.

But that time she was dressed in a strapless and very short dress made of lettuce leaves.

This week it was reported that Chantelle and her cage-fighter beau Alex have landed their own reality TV show.

According to the Daily Star, TV bosses are hopeful a series featuring the pair will be as successful as reality show What Katie Did Next, which followed the lives of model Katie Price who was then married to Alex.

Chantelle Houghton sprinkles some magic as the Christmas Fairy

Chantelle Houghton is no stranger to being the centre of attention but posing for photographs at 54ft in the air proves her fame really has hit new heights.

The Big Brother star was harnessed to the top of a sky-scraper Christmas Tree for Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex for their Christmas display.

Dressed in a long, pale pink ball gown that Jordan would be proud of, she looked every inch the Christmas Fairy with her flowing curly blonde locks and silver tiara as she waved her wand.

Chantelle was launching the shopping centre’s Grotto Lotto promotion which offers shoppers £1,000 daily for the next 12 days to spend at Lakeside.
Crowds soon gathered below to watch the spectacle unfold but despite a big audience and balancing on the point of the tree, her beaming smile showed no hint of nerves.

It turns out the 27-year-old was putting on a brave face though as she took to her Twitter page to let her followers know that she was, in fact, scared out of her wits.

Excited before she floated up in the air, she tweeted: ‘Who’s at Lakeside? Come see me at 3.30. I’ll be wearing an amazzzzing dress! It’s Christmas!!’

But after the event she admitted just how scared she had been: ‘Most craziest day yesterday being put on the top of Lakeside’s Christmas tree! I was petrified!’

A spokesman for Lakeside said: 'Chantelle did such an amazing job, she was wearing a harness underneath the dress and supported by wires.'
