We've seen that dress before...on you! Chelsee Healey wears thigh-high number at parties three days apart

By Alanah Eriksen

Most celebrities wouldn't be caught dead wearing the same thing twice - especially only three nights apart.

And especially when the event you're attending is a fashion show.

But Strictly Come Dancing runner-up Chelsee Healey clearly couldn't get enough of this strapless dress with its thigh-high split down the side.

Just a different hairdo: Strictly Come Dancing runner-up Chelsee Healey wore the same dress at a VIP event in Manchester last night that she wore on Friday in Liverpool

The 23-year-old donned the same green and black maxi-dress last night at a party in Manchester that she wore at a nightclub in Liverpool on Friday.

Surely the former Waterloo Road actress has designers sending her free clothes in the hope of having them showcased, now that she's hot property because of the popular show.
Chelsee also donned the same pair of Christian Louboutin black ankle boots she wore previously.

The only differences were her earrings and hair, which was up in a messy ponytail on top of her head as opposed to down, like last week.
The split on her dress also appeared to be on the other side, meaning the star turned her dress around.
She appeared to have laid off the fake tan a little bit.
In Liverpool, she appeared to be covered with oodles of the stuff.
Chelsee posed seductively with a James Bond statue at the 007-themed show at Vermillion CinnaBar.
She was the guest of honour at the event, which showcased couture from local designers.

Chelsee appears to be on a mission to party after her recent revelation that she is at a loss of what to do now she is no longer dancing.
Speaking of the BBC One show, she said: 'I don't know what to do.
'Strictly becomes a big part of your life and to wake up and not think about it and not to go to training - it's really upset me.'

'Vincent has won something at last!': EastEnders star Charlie Brooks pokes fun at her partner as she wins the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special

By Marcus Barnes

Charlie Brooks was the Christmas champion on this year's special edition of Strictly Come Dancing.

The 30-year-old took the title after winning the audience's share of the final vote after the judges tied her with fellow competitor Debra Stephenson.

But it was the EastEnders star's Jive, with partner Vincent Simone, that helped Charlie dance her way to victory in the end.

Blue's Simon Webbe kicked off the show with Katya Virshilas.

With the support of bandmates Anthony and Duncan in the audience he danced the Cha Cha Cha to Slade's Merry Xmas Everyone.

The singer worked his way through a raunchy routine as a man who comes home to his wife who's been preparing the dinner table.

He powered through a confident display wearing a purple short-sleeved shirt with Kaya in matching purple dress.

The routine closed with the couple sat down with a newspaper and certainly impressed the judging panel. Struggled with lift close to the end.

Len Goodman commented: 'It was crisp like fresh snow, sharp like the air on Christmas morning, hot like a mulled wine. Tutty fruity what a booty!'

While Alesha Dixon said: 'Strong, animalistic, totally in control, a very confident performance.'

An ever-enthusiastic Bruno Tonioli added: 'I know its Christmas, but all of a sudden it feels like midsummer. So much hot totty I feel dizzy.'

Craig Revel Horwood said: 'You were a powerhouse of strength, Amazonian.'

Next up was comedian Debra Stephenson, who partnered Ian Waite for their take on American Smooth.

Dancing to Christmas classic Baby, It's Cold Outside Debra wore a sparkling silver dress with partner Ian in a grey tux.

They took to the dancefloor starting their routine on a chais longue and performing their routine with panache.

Finishing with a big lift and returning to the chais longue, it was an impressive turn which landed them with 37 points.

Alesha telling her: ' You look gorgeous, nice line, turns, in control. Fantastic.'

Whereas Len added: 'Like a fairy on top of the tree, you were light and fluffy. Baby it's cold outside, but you warmed me up.'

Hi-De-Hi actress Su Pollard provided the evening's light relief partnering Anton Du Beke for their own take on the Foxtrot

A snow covered Anton warmed his hands on a fake fire while Su arrived on a sleigh, Bing Crosby's White Christmas playing as they got stuck in.

The stars were both in white, that was until Anton stripped off Su's white dress to reveal a mint green number.

Su pulled funny faces throughout and appeared awkward and stiff, Anton leading her around the dancefloor.

At the end he shoved her back into the sleigh, pushing her backside to get her back in.

Though host Bruce Forsyth saw the funny side, Craig was usual gloomy self telling Su: 'It did lack some fundamental points - elegance, grace, style... you also did go off on the wrong foot.

But Su butted in and told him: 'Once that happened I couldn't get on the right foot then!' and proceeded to pretend to stab him while he defended himself with chair.

Len on the other hand, embraced the Christmas spirit and told Su: 'You came out like the snow queen, white and gorgeous. Then there was a metamorphosis and you turned into this Christmas tree. I didn't see anything Craig did. You had Anton, like Rudolph the red nose reindeer, guiding you round the floor.'

Alesha said she wanted to give Su an extra point for attacking Craig.'It was done with affection,' Su replied.

Bruno also enjoyed the good humoured dance, telling the actress: 'You have such range. You were crackers on a sleigh and a smitten kitten on the dancefloor.'

Barry McGuigan danced the Quickstep with Erin Boag and admitted in rehearsals that he was very scared of performing the dance, particularly given his height disadvantage.

Erin wore a red dress as they danced to a jazzed up version of classic carol Jingle Bells.

The former boxing champion appeared a little awkward - he lacked finesse and ambled along at times though the reaction was very positive from the judging panel.

Bruno said: 'The bells are ringing, you were faster than Lewis Hamilton. Fantastic Quickstep, well done.'

Craig, as ever, laid in with the serious commentary, telling Barry: 'You could do with more length of bone, you lost your balance, your hands need shaping, you need spots on your turns. The end position left a lot to be desired. But you had great posture, I loved the Charleston section.'

Last up, and eventual winner, was actress Charlie Brooks AKA EastEnders' Janine Butcher who took to the floor with Vincent Simone.

Dressed as Santa, Vincent gave out presents to female members of the audience before unveiling Charlie from a sack.

Charlie wore a Mrs Santa as the duo danced a very energetic and precise Jive to Santa Claus Is Coming To Town in front of a receptive audience.

Energetic from the outset, the routine was punctuated by a spectacular lift towards the end which saw Vincent swing Charlie round and step over her with each leg.

They received a standing ovation and great feedback from the judges.

Len said: 'That was sharp and tasty like a pickled wlanut in a bit of cheese. Terrific Jive.'

Alesha commentted: 'Fast paced great energy kicks and flicks. Pure fun.

While an ecstatic Craig crowned Charlie's victorious dance by saying: 'One word, three syllables, starting with F... fab-u-lous.'

Though she was tied with Debra, Charlie eventually emerged as the winner thanks to the audience vote.

Also featured on the show was Shakin' Stevens and the entire cast of this year's run of Strictly, who performed a huge final dance to close the show - with the judging panel also joining in.

You don't need the stage make-up anymore! Strictly star Chelsee Healey turns gold as she overdoes the fake tan

By Nadia Mendoza

Last updated at 9:21 AM on 24th December 2011

Sometime less is certainly more; but we're all guilty of being a little frivolous at Christmas time.

And Chelsee Healey appears to have overdone the fake tan by applying oodles of the stuff to within an inch her life.

The Strictly Come Dancing runner-up may have needed a generous helping under the studio lights, but the series ended last week.

Last night, the 23-year-old beauty headed out for some festivities to Liverpool nightclub Panam.

The Waterloo Road actress displayed a pair of enviably toned legs as her floor-length gown was slashed to the thigh.

She teamed the green and black creation with Christian Laboutin ankle boot heels and some rather large drop earrings to weigh her lobes down.

No wonder Healey is on a mission to party, considering her recent revelation that she is at a loss of what to do now she is no longer dancing.

Speaking of the BBC One show, she said: 'I don't know what to do.

'Strictly becomes a big part of your life and to wake up and not think about it and not to go to training - it's really upset me.'

X Factor rising star Rebecca Ferguson also put in an appearance, opting for a slightly safer option by stepping out in a plain black tassel dress.

However, she did spice up the ensemble with a beige clutch bag and funky zig-zag pattern heels - also by designer Laboutin.

The 25-year-old will be elated to re-enter the clubbing circuit and listen to music again, having banished herself to the studio to record her album.

Speaking of the recording process for her debut effort Heaven, she said: 'I was completely out of what was going on in the charts.

'I was just completely focused on my own music.'

A host of Desperate Scousewives took advantage of their new found fame, including Elissa Corrigan who was seen happily posing outside the venue.

'I'm really upset, I don't know what to do': Chelsee Healey is 'lost' without Strictly Come Dancing

By Daily Mail Reporter

She thought she'd be knocked out in the first week, but instead wowed the Strictly Come Dancing judges to come second.

Now Chelsee Healey says she feels so gloomy about the end of the show she doesn't know what to do.

The 23-year-old admitted she was 'really upset' about the competition being over first on ITV's Daybreak and then Lorraine this morning.

'I don't know what to do,' she told Nadia Sawalha, who was standing in for Lorraine Kelly.

'Strictly becomes a big part of your life and to wake up and not think about it and not to go to training - it's really upset me.'

The Waterloo Road actress was the clear winner in the wardrobe stakes for the Strictly after-party in Blackpool yesterday, after donning a chic black dress with a flash of green sparkle.

But the garish salmon-pink jacket she chose to wear for her TV appearance this morning clashed with her slightly orange complexion.

She teamed it with skin-tight satin leggings and Gucci wellies that did nothing to add to the look.

She, or perhaps a stylist, had swapped the salmon jacket for a black one for her Daybreak appearance, perhaps to avoid a hideous clash with the show's red sofa.

But by the time she hit Lorraine, the salmon was back, faring slightly better against a purple backdrop.

Modest Chelsee had told Daybreak's Dan Lobb and Kate Garraway that to get to the Strictly final had been 'an amazing achievement in itself.'

'It would have been nice to win don't get me wrong,' she added. 'But I'm really happy even to have come second because that's amazing for me. I'm just dead grateful'

Chelsee also revealed her gruelling schedule while she was on the show.

She would be on the Waterloo Road set for 7am, work through until 7pm before going off to train with Strictly partner Pasha Kovalev until 10pm.

Even with such focus, she never expected to win.

'I always prepared myself that I was going to go first, that's just me. I always think the worst,' she said.

'I never expect, I just kind of go with it and then if I did stay on it was an amazing surprise for me.'

And, after joking that judge Craig Revel Horwood was 'tight' after only giving her a nine for one of her performances in the final, she admitted to Sawalha her new found fame was 'weird.'

'I'm only getting to grips with it now. I'm still me but a lot more people know my name,' she said before adding: 'It's lovely, it's so nice... it's weird though'

The best Strictly ever, no contest: CLAUDIA CONNELL gives her view from the sofa

The best Strictly ever, no contest: CLAUDIA CONNELL gives her view from the sofa

By Claudia Connell

Fourteen weeks ago, Strictly promised the best series ever. Nobody took much notice at the time because, let’s be honest, they say that every year.

This time, though, it was actually true and Strictly Come Dancing 2011 was, hands down, the best in the show’s nine-year history.

So you can forgive the BBC for throwing what must have been the entire year’s light entertainment budget at Saturday’s grand final in Blackpool.

Winners: Harry Judd and dance partner Aliona Vilani contributed to the best Strictly yet
Winners: Harry Judd and dance partner Aliona Vilani contributed to the best Strictly yet

The spectacular opening sequence had a gladiators theme with the three finalists entering the arena in chariots.

I’m not sure the film Gladiator would have taken £300million at the box office if Russell Crowe had settled his scores with a samba rather than a sword. And Anton Du Beke didn’t make a terribly convincing Roman swordsman – more Minimus than Maximus – but it was camp drama all the same, and set the tone brilliantly.

Proceedings kicked off with the celebrities dancing the judge’s favourites from the series. Harry Judd was up first with his quickstep which earned him the perfect score of 40 and much leering over by Bruno Tonioli, who flirted shamelessly with the young pop star – despite his girlfriend sitting in the front row.

Much has been made this series of Tess Daly’s questionable fashion sense.

Top marks: Chelsee Healey was a worthy runner-up in this year's dance-fest
Top marks: Chelsee Healey was a worthy runner-up in this year's dance-fest

Every week she lures me into a false sense of security when, at the beginning of the show, shot from the waist up her outfit looks rather fetching and stylish. Only when the camera pans down to reveal the number in full length is the horrible truth realised.

And so it was on Saturday night. I ohhed and ahhed at her strapless silver sequin frock – then grimaced in horror as what looked like nicotine-stained net curtains attached to the hem came into view.

For the second instalment she changed into a black-and-white lace number which looked stunning – until the camera pulled back to reveal a bottom half that could have been designed by Edward Scissorhands.

Jason Donovan followed Harry, with the judges selecting his I Will Survive tango as their favourite dance of the series. Always the contestant who’s taken the show the most seriously, Jason looked worryingly wide-eyed, manic and in danger of spontaneously combusting. Thank heavens he seemed to calm down after the first dance.

Sadly, nerves appeared to have got the better of him and, unlike Harry, he probably danced the routine better the first time around. Even I noticed that his bottom was sticking out like a baboon so it was no surprise he lost marks.

Chelsee Healey’s first dance was her amazing Shrek-themed Jive which was as frenzied, fun and bouncy as ever – I only hope it wasn’t too traumatising for 3D viewers. Next came the show dances which, just like the swingathon, often fail to live up to the hype. Harry’s rock ’n’ roll routine featured more lifts than Tom Cruise’s shoes with poor Aliona spending more time in the air than on the ground.

The consensus in my living room – as well as on internet forums – is that Chelsee’s show dance was daring but very messy looking.

With so many adventurous lifts thrown in, it was just as well she’s incapable of falling flat on her face.

Attention: Nancy Dell'Olio arrived for the after-show party in a dramatic red PVC dress and said guests, 'acted as if she were the real winner'
Attention: Nancy Dell'Olio arrived for the after-show party in a dramatic red PVC dress and said guests, 'acted as if she were the real winner'

In the end it was Jason who delivered the best show dance of the evening.

It was predictable, but still rather a shame, that he was the first to be voted off, leaving just Chelsee and Harry in the running for glitterball glory.

For a moment it felt like watching some modern-day version of Pygmalion – Harry with his cut-glass public schoolboy accent alongside little Chelsee with an accent so broad that a few subtitles wouldn’t have gone amiss.

Chelsee gave us a beautifully sensuous rumba before repeating her air-hostess quickstep routine but didn’t manage to clock up a 40 for either of them despite ‘giving it all what I’ve got to give’.

Harry gave us a seriously smooth American smooth followed by the Argentine tango, about which Craig Revel Horwood had previously said: ‘It was filth and I loved it.’

Steamy and seductive as ever, it earned Harry a mark of 40 and possibly a couple of phone numbers from a drooling Bruno and Craig.

Earlier in the evening former contenders performed. Nancy Dell’Olio, true to form, flashed her knickers and clomped around like a lame carthorse one more time.

Robbie gave us a couple of crotch thrusts while Edwina and Russell, who looked like they’d been entering the same pie-eating contests in recent weeks, huffed and puffed their way through the routine.

When Harry was named the winner it wasn’t much of a surprise as he outperformed Chelsee in all four dances. She may have lost the trophy but, over the past three months, she won millions of hearts and I can’t imagine she’ll be too disappointed.

So, it’s all over for another year. As the sequins are put away and the lid goes back on the fake tan, 11million of us will be left idly twiddling our thumbs every Saturday night between now and next September.

Banner year for McFly! Harry Judd mobbed by ecstatic bandmates as he is crowned winner of Strictly Come Dancing

Just weeks after his bandmate Dougie Poynter was crowned King of the Jungle on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, Harry Judd has won Strictly Come Dancing 2011.

His ecstatic McFly bandmates stormed the dancefloor moments after hosts Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly announced their names.

Sir Bruce was left chasing the boy band off the floor as they interrupted the Glitterball ceremony in their rush to congratulate the 25-year-old drummer.

The ecstatic boys jumped on Judd, leaving his partner Aliona to cheer by herself before they enveloped her in their group celebration.

'All I can say is, from the bottom of heart thank you to everyone for voting for Aliona and me,' the thrilled 25-year-old said. 'I've been on the best show on TV and I'm just honoured.'

The musician had earlier admitted that he wasn't convinced that joining the show was the best decision early on in the competition. 'I was dreading it to be honest. I thought, what am I doing?'

'I was so nervous when I first started and I didn't think I'd be able to do it. But Aliona has gotten me through it.'

Shortly after Harry was crowned as the winner, 'King of the jungle' Dougie joked on Twitter: 'I have a queen!!!!!! Thanks so much guys! This is ace!!!'

The McFly boys had previously promised to strip and post a nude picture to Twitter should Harry win, and Dougie promised fans tonight: 'Naked picture as promised coming later, need to find a yard glass first.'

A few weeks ago, Danny Jones fulfilled his promise to pose naked if Dougie won I'm A Celebrity, and the whole band will apparently be joining him tonight for the new tradition.

Going into the final results Harry and Aliona were leading by three points, with a combined score of 156.

Runner-up Chelsee Healey said: 'I'm really proud of meself.' In a Sally Field moment, the Waterloo Road actress said: 'To know people actually like me is really nice.'

Harry and Aliona had heated things up during the second half of the live final with a romantic American Smooth and a sexy Argentine tango, for which they received their second perfect score of the evening.

'Like the nation, I've fallen in love with you too darling,' said an uncharacteristic Craig, shortly before Harry was announced as the winner.

Both the finalists performed a new dance for their third performance of the evening following Jason Donovan's departure.

Chelsee and Pasha also received a 39 for their equally romantic Rumba to Fools Rush In.

They then performed the quick step from week four that first saw them get noticed as serious contenders by the judges.

Despite Craig telling them it was a 'first class' performance, he stopped short of awarding them a ten, lowering their otherwise perfect score to 39.

An hour earlier, Jason Donovan was the first finalist to be eliminated from the final tonight.

Despite topping the leader board going in the results show, the Australian and his partner Kristina Rihanoff were voted off by the public.

'After my wife and children, this has been the best experience of my life,' the gracious star said after hearing the news.

Donovan became emotional as he thanked partner Kristina, who he called a visionary.

An hour earlier, the actor and singer looked like he could have turned his fortunes around after muscling bookies favourite Harry Judd out of first place in the judges' scores.

But it wasn't to be.

Jason also thanks his wife and children, who he said had been with him through 'all the ups and downs in my life.'

Earlier in the show, Jason said: 'It has been such a ride. My life has had ups and downs and that's what has happened to me in Strictly. Because of the downs, you appreciate the highs so much more. I've thrown myself into it.'

After receiving the lowest judges' score - 37 - of the evening for his first performance, a tango to I Will Survive, he upped his game to get a perfect score for the show dance.

The judges heaped praise on Jason and Kristina after their second performance, with Bruno telling them: 'It was more than a show dance it was showbusiness extravaganza! You could open on Broadway tomorrow and break box office records!'

'Ferocious and full-on darling,' said Craig. 'I would get that woman a restraining order, amazing!'

Jason's departure leaves Harry and Chelsee in the competition. Harry opened the show with a quickstep.

Before his dance, Harry said: 'I've been smiling all week. My Strictly experience has been one of the most important experiences of my life- I never thought I'd say that.

'Strictly has been refreshing and I've absolutely loved it. I'm very grateful.'

'It's like being a dad and watching your son play football for the first time,' said his bandmate Dougie. 'You think, "Oh, that's my boy!"'

Aliona said: 'I wasn't sure about Harry, he came into the studio pigeon-toed, and I thought "Aw, bless."'

After the energetic quickstep, Len said: 'You've come out all guns blazing. That was brilliant, well done.'

'You came, you danced and you conquered Blackpool,' said Bruno. 'It was delivered with flash and dance. Loved it.'

Craig added: 'I only had one problem last time, that ghastly lazy left foot of yours, but you seemed to have improved that, so I absolutely love it.'

'I will survive? YOU have survived, 14 weeks of blood seat and tears,' said Len afterwards. 'You have 20 years on the other two and you have given everything with so much energy. 10

Bruno enthused: 'You excelled! Talk about a tango with split personalities. At one point you were like Wolverine and then you were like a disco diva from 1978.'

'Your bottom was sticking out a lot, but I have to say it's a fantastic number,' said Craig. 'It's through determination and good old fashioned hard work that you've got there.

The judges awarded 38 to the couple - perfect scores from Alesha and Len and nines each from Craig and Bruno, putting them behind Harry and Aliona after the first dance.

Chelsee and Pasha Kovalev were the last of the three finalist couples to perform their first dance.

'Dancing is me now,' The Waterloo Road star said. 'When I first started people didn't know who I was. Strictly has brought out an elegant side of me. I'll leave the competition a different person, I've grown up a lot. Not in size! I've learned to be more confident. I'll treasure this forever.'

They performed their popular Shrek jive from week ten.

Len told them: 'I've judged in this room many times, and watching you, a girl who came here with no dancing experience, do that jive so well gives me a much pleasure as judging world champions. 10

'For me that was my favourite jive of the whole series,' said Alesha. 10

'That was a premium grade jive of eye-popping vibrancy,' shouted Bruno. 'You were great!'

Craig enthused: 'A complete and absolute bundle of joy to watch. It was about a thousand steps a minute. I loved it.' 9

'It's already the best night of my life,' said Chelsee afterwards.

They received an almost-perfect 39, with just Craig deducting one point from their score, placing Harry in first place after the first dances, followed by Chelsee, and Jason in third place.

For the show dance section, Harry and Aliona performed a sexy, Fifties-inspired jive to Great Balls of Fire.

The boy band member's famous chest was out on full display for the second dance, in an unbuttoned red shirt.

He jumped behind the drum set to show off his day-job skills at the end of the number.

'You have talent written all over you,' said Len. 'You gave it all your all. Everyone was so impressed by that.'

Alesha: I loved the concept, it really suited you. The lifts were almost dangerous but they were fabulous.
