Daisy Lowe should be pleased to hear the latest Doctor Who gossip.

Leading lady Karen Gillan has revealed there won't be any nookie in the Tardis, meaning she won't sink her claws into Lowe's boyfriend Matt Smith.

Despite a mane of fiery red hair and legs longer than the time span the Doctor can hurtle back and forth between, the show will be family-friendly.

Karen, 23, who plays sidekick Amy Pond, told The Mirror: 'Oh God no, it’s a family show. Perhaps there might be a DVD for the over-18s.
'You’re not going to see any of that funny flirty business in the Tardis.'

The story unfolds that newlyweds Amy and Rory Williams, played by Arthur Darvill, conceived a child in the Tardis.

But there will be no flashback scenes of them getting up to no good.

Amy then discovers the Doctor’s friend River Song, played by Alex Kingston, is actually her newborn daughter all grown up.

Gillan confirmed: 'River Song was conceived on the Tardis. It’s kind of insinuated, but never actually said.'

Kingston will no doubt enjoy her forthcoming storyline, when she gets busy planting kisses on Smith.

The former ER actress has already had the pleasure in the two-part series opener The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon.

Following a mid-season break, having initially hit airwaves in April, the second part of the sixth series promises the usual rollercoaster ride with plenty of monsters and special effects.

Karen added: 'The Minotaur is pretty scary and we’ve also got a monster called the Teselecta in Let’s Kill Hitler.

'It goes back in time to try to right the wrongs of the past.'

There will also be a few familiar faces in the first episode, with former stars Billie Piper, Freema Agyeman and Catherine Tate all taking on cameos.

Despite their return to the set, it will be their first screen venture with Smith, having played sidekicks to ex-Time Lord David Tennant.

A BBC source said: 'They don’t have a big part to play, but fans will love to see them return and they are trying to help Matt in an hour of need.

'It is a humorous scene and it opens the door to any of them if they wanted to come back and do some more filming in the future.'

Speaking at a special Q&A screening this week, writer Steven Moffat said his intention to script in Adolf Hitler was to poke fun at the Nazi dictator.

He said: 'Hitler is iconic - in an evil and ghastly way.

'In Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade there was a brilliant gag where Indiana Jones accidentally gets Hitler’s autograph.

'I think if you really want to p*** of Hitler you don’t make him into an icon of evil, you take the mickey out of him... make him be punched by Rory.'

The new series of Doctor Who starts with Let’s Kill Hitler on August 27.

The world of Formula 1 is renowned for its fast cars, lavish spending and stunning women.

And last night Tamara Ecclestone was the epitome of F1 glamour in a daring split-to-the-thigh gown.

The model and TV presenter, 27, was hosting the F1 party in aid of the Great Ormond Street Hospital in the historic surroundings of the Natural History Museum.

And she went for maximum impact in a revealing red and black Balmain bandeau gown which she teamed with a pair of peep-toe Christian Louboutin heels and an Alexander McQueen clutch bag.

The brunette beauty was joined at the lavish event by little sister Petra, 23, and their father, F1 tycoon Bernie, 80.

It was somewhat of a double date for Petra and Tamara, who brought their respective partners.

Petra arrived on the arm of businessman fiancé James Stunt, 30, while Tamara attended with boyfriend Omar Khyami, 37.
Ahead of the event, Tamara Tweeted: 'Going to get my hair done for the F1 party tonight so excited, am so excited. Have finally decided on a dress, will wear Balmain.'
Her younger sister Petra showed off her slim figure in a black and white dress and strappy Christian Louboutin heels.

The blonde is set to wed Stunt in Italy next month following a four year courtship.

The Mail On Sunday's Katie Nicholl told last weekend how Petra and Stunt will marry in Odescalchi Castle near Rome during the August bank holiday weekend.

The 15th century castle is the same venue where Tom Cruise wed Katie Holmes in 2006.

Also at last night's event was Doctor Who star Karen Gillan, DJ Sara Cox, actress Tina Hobley, ex-WAG Lizzie Cundy, Apprentice mentor Nick Hewer and TV presenter Donal McIntyre.

Cundy, who split from footballer husband Jason Cundy last year, said she was hoping Tamara would help her find a racing driver boyfriend.

She Tweeted: 'Lots of racing drivers!! Mucho fun!!... Tamara finding me a racing driver !! Lucky me.'

While the mother-of-two opted for full-length glamour in an asymmetrical animal-print gown, BBC presenter Cox, 36, opted for a flirty French Connection dress.
Cox arrived at the bash with her mother, but left early because she had to be awake early with her three children.
Entertainment at last night's event came from Alexandra Burke, DJ Annie Mac and magician Dynamo.

Is Doctor Who's Karen Gillan going to be killed off by show's new scary aliens?

One of Doctor Who’s leading characters is set to be killed off by a mystery spaceman in the upcoming season of the series.
Karen Gillan, who plays Amy Pond, might be the unlucky character to get the axe, or she might be saved if Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill) or River Song (Alex Kingston) faces their dismal fate instead.
As the new BBC1 show returns to our screens on April 23, a new string of scary aliens are set to cause a stir and shake up the scare factor of the show.

The aliens, named The Silence, are said to be more frightening than Daleks, Cybermen and Weeping Angels.
The terrifying creatures will debut in the opening episode of the new series and threaten to conquer the Earth with their powers.

One of their special powers allows them to wipe the memory of humans, so anyone who sees them and then looks away will forget ever having seen them.
Doctor Who boss Steven Moffat, 47, created the new characters and wanted them to scarier than any other baddies that have been on the show to date.
He told the Express: ‘I think the idea is very cool. Imagine going downstairs and you can’t remember if there was something upstairs.’

While Doctor Who himself, 28-year-old Matt Smith, said: ‘They’re scary and repulsive and frightening.’
Meanwhile, Karen Gillan and Matt Smith jetted off to New York last week for a DVD signing at Barnes & Noble.
The actors were promoting Doctor Who: The Complete Fifth Series DVD and Karen looked lovely in a yellow and black spring dress alongside mahogany ankle boots which matched her fiery red hair.
And the popularity of the show has led to a Doctor Who locations bus tour opening in Cardiff.
The £21 tour kicked off on Saturday, which takes fans on a four-hour bus ride around some of the most memorable locations used in the sci-fi show and its spin-offs, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventure.
