My Big Fat Gypsy Brother House: Paddy Doherty is crowned the winner of this year's show as Kerry Katona comes second

He thought he would only be in the house for a week at the most but tonight Paddy Doherty was crowned as this year's winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2011.

The star of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding looked stunned but elated when host Brian Dowling announced that he had received the most votes and was the winner.

He hugged Kerry Katona, who was this year's runner-up, and lifted her off the ground and punched his fist in the air before shouting: 'Wommmmannnnn!'.

He left the house to deafening cheers and blinding flashbulbs and soaked up the atmosphere looking very emotional.

Once in the hot seat with host Brian Dowling he thanked all the fans for voting for him and said he thought he would only be in the house for a week and there was no way he was going to win it.

He said: 'I thank all the people who voted for me. I swear I only thought I’d last one week, no way did I think I’d win, I had no game plan.'

Talking about his housemates, he said said he wasn't used to mixing with people outside of the travelling community but he found the whole experience to be fantastic.

He said he got on the best with Kerry and Darryn and said he believed he was like the father that Kerry never had.

And he said Darryn, who he called a 'proper true gentleman', bonded because he was like his equal and older than the other housemates and they would be lifelong friends.

Paddy was also tearfully reunited with his wife Roseanne and said the pair had never before spent more than four days apart.

Before he was given his moment in the spotlight, Kerry was crowned the runner-up and ran out of the house to loud applause and cheers.

She told her host that she couldn't believe she had come second and she said the show had helped her put a 'wrong right'.

She said her time in the house taught her that she is a 'strong, independent woman and I can stand on my own two feet' but she didn't like being given the task of acting like a diva as she wanted to make a good impression on her flatmates.

Brian asked Kerry about her and Lucien but she just cooed and said he is like her little brother.

Jedward, who many had tipped to win the show, came in third place, and leapt around like excited little boys when they name was called.

Once outside, they spoke all over each other and said: 'We had an awesome time, was so cool being in there. They all rocked!'

Brian told the twins that they hadn't received one single nomination while in the house and they said it was because the housemates had 'unconditional love' towards them.

Amy Childs had been voted out just before them and strutted out of the house looking sensational in a sparkling gold dress and towering heels, blowing kisses to the audience.

She told Brian: ''Oh my god, I'm so excited to be out! I was so nervous, I thought everyone was going to boo me.'

She admitted that she had spray tanned earlier and annoyed the housemates as she got it everywhere and it took her all day to get ready for tonight's final.

When quizzed about Lucien and the budding romance that has kept viewers gripped, she said she didn't fancy him and added: 'Lucien is a friend and we've had a bit of flirting and a bit of banter but that's it.'

Lucien left the house immediately before her, having been the third celebrity to miss out on their place in the final tonight, and was greeted by screams and cheers.

He said he was really nervous about facing the crowd outside the house but said going in was scary and added: 'To come in a house with such big personalities, I didn't think I would make it this far.'

Talking about the ladies in the house, he said: 'I might be a bit flirty at times but was just having a good time and a laugh.'

When Brain quizzed him about Amy he said he liked her at one point but has now come round and they're better off as mates.

As for Kerry, he said: 'She is a beautiful person and as gorgeous as she is, I see her as a big sister.'

Australian paparazzo Darryn Lyons was the second person to get the boot from the house and said he couldn't believe he'd got to the final night.

He said: 'I didn't think I make the final night, absolutely overawed and happy to come out at the middle of the group.

'My life's a rollercoaster and that won't change whether in the house or outside.'

Darryn also said he had an immediate connection to Paddy Doherty and called him his 'rock', a shoulder to cry on and tipped him to win.

And while he might have provided some eye candy for the female viewers, male model Bobby Sabel became the first housemate to be evicted from tonight's live final show.

The 25-year-old waafter he was shown the door by Big Brother and told Brian: 'It feels good to be back'.

Despite being greeted by a mixture of boos, cheers and wolf whistles, he told Dowling that he was delighted to see the audience when he came out.

He said: 'I loved it, absolutely loved, like being in solitary confinement with ten people and then coming out to see these people, it was great.'

It's not the sunniest day today - but that didn't stop the Celebrity Big Brother babes stripping off.

The battle for the best bikini body began with American Pie actress Tara Reid the first to don a two-piece.

The 35-year-old sat in a sparkly blue swimsuit as she chatted poolside with a covered-up Kerry Katona, former Coronation Street actor Lucien Laviscount and model Bobby Sable.

Also joining the group was redheaded bombshell Amy Childs, 21, donning a pink and white striped bikini.

But their amazing figures weren't the only thing the girls revealed.

She boldly asked the mother-of-four, who recently split with Take Me Out contestant Dan Foden, is she 'had a new man', to which Kerry replied 'I'm done with men'.

But Amy wouldn't let up, saying: 'No fitties in here for you? What about Bobby?'

Amy said she was single but was quick to add: 'He's got a good body though doesn't he, what's his name, Lu,' referring to Lucien.

But she also said she thought he was too young for her at 19.

Kerry swooned: 'Yeah he's sweet, don't you fancy him? He's gorgeous, I think he's dead handsome.'

And there doesn't appear to be any cattyness among the three bikini-clad women, with Kerry saying

Tara was 'down to earth, not what I expected'.

Tara may have been less willing to show off her body a few years ago after botched plastic surgery.



The 35-year-old, who got married to Bulgarian financier Zachary Kehayo last week, admitted in an interview in 2006 that she had had liposuction on her stomach and a breast augmentation.

But it left her with bulges on her stomach and bumps on her breasts.

She said the surgery 'went wrong' but told how she had had it because her breasts were uneven and she wanted a six pack for a new movie role.

'Right after the surgery I had some bumps along the edges of my nipples, but the doctor said, 'Don't worry, it's going to be better.' But after six months it started to get worse and worse.'

Tara had another operation to correct the surgery and had more liposuction in hopes to even out her stomach.

Kerry stunned Tara today as they sat on sun loungers, chatting about their weird talents.

She asked some of the housemates: 'Do you want to see how long my tongue is? before poking out her tongue really slowly, which Amy found hilarious.

She said: 'It keeps going longer, Kezza... That's so scary.'

A baffled Tara asked: 'How do you practice this?' before revealing her own freaky talent.

'I have one trick I can do,' she said.

'But it's not really good like that. It's just my thumb. It's double jointed... it goes all the way back like that.'

Bobby was also seen shirtless today, reclining on a chair in a pair of red swimming trunks.

Earlier, Jedward twins, aka John and Edward Grimes, had an early morning swim in the pool at the luxury pad, based in Elstree, Hertfordshire.

They wore matching striped trunks and managed to keep their trademark coiffed hair upright.

This season's Celebrity Big Brother may be the most glamorous yet.

Former The Only Way is Essex star Amy Childs, 21, was joined in the luxury compound in Elstree, Herts, last night by seasoned reality star Kerry Katona and American Pie actress Tara Reid.

The show has been relaunched on Channel 5 and housemates will live in the house for three weeks.

And it proved a ratings winner for the channel, with 5.1million viewers tuning in.

Amy wore a gold sequinned Forever Unique dress on the first night, promising host Brian Dowling: 'I will bring 100 per cent bring glamour to the Big Brother House.'

She added: 'I really am ditzy. I really don't think before I speak.'

The trio joined My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding star Paddy Doherty as the first four contestants to enter the house and chatted nervously before the others arrived.

Two other rival blondes include David Hasslehoff's ex-wife Pamela Bach and Sally Bercow, wife of the House of Commons Speaker John Bercow.

Also in the house are Irish pop twins Jedward, aka John and Edward Grimes, Australian paparazzo Darryn Lyons, Coronation Street actor Lucien Laviscount, and 29-year-old male model Bobby Sabel.

An awkward moment ensued when Tara, 35, walked down the spiral staircase into the house to see Kerry waiting. She struggled to understand the Warrington girl's accent when she introduced herself.

Kerry, who also wore Forever Unique, told Brian earlier: 'I'm really loud, I'm hyperactive. You never know what you're going to get with me.

'I'm either up all I'm down.'

And there is likely to be more tension among the female contestants after mother-of-four Kerry was given the first task of the show - to stir up a diva-style tantrum.

Tara is likely to be missing her new husband, Bulgarian financier Zachary Kehayov.

The pair married unexpectedly in Greece last week.

Jedward are also likely to stir up a bit of trouble among the girls after promising to 'fight for hairspray' in the house. They admitted they used up to a bottle a day.
The heavily-coiffed pair, who have made millions since losing X Factor, arrived in the house wearing tiger-print hooded jackets and sneakers with panda heads on them.
It had widely been reported that Amy was entering the house after it emerged she had quit the show that made her a household name.
TOWIE bosses apparently didn't want her appearing on a rival network.
