She might have lost weight recently but one thing is certain, Jennifer Hudson has certainly lost none of her charm.

The 30-year-old singer looked every inch the Hollywood star as she posed in a flowing sunshine gown in Los Angeles.

The strapless chiffon ensemble not only brought plenty of glamour but it also emphasised Jennifer’s curves to perfection.

Jennifer was looking sultry as she pouted her rose tinted lips towards the camera and stroked her fingers through the loose curves in her hair.

The amber dress complemented her skin tone to perfection and nipped her in at her tiny waist before flowing down covering her feet in the swathes of chiffon.

Jennifer’s glamorous appearance was in aid of a Vanity Fair photo shoot which took place in Los Angeles earlier today.

Last week Jennifer looked as pretty as a princess as she took to the stage at the Disney Magic Kingdom Christmas parade in Florida.

The American Idol star donned a larger than life ball gown which boasted shining silver embellishment and huge layered skirt.

The soulful star carried off her singing duties off with aplomb, belting out a series of holiday favourites backed by a typically well-drilled Disney choir.

Jennifer has just splashed out on a lavish six bedroom mansion in Chicago.

The 12,000 square foot plush pad was built in 2007 and boasts seven bathrooms, a heated garage, a theatre and two laundry rooms.

The palatial property is located in Chicago’s southwestern suburb of Burr Ridge, Illinois and was last listed at $2,795,000.

'I have never truly felt cherished by a lover': Lady Gaga laments her bad romances... and fears she will end up alone

Lady Gaga has opened up in her most revealing interview yet and lamented her track record of bad romances.

While the multimillion selling recording artist laments that she’s tone-deaf about relationships and might be ticketed for a lifetime of singlehood.

In a stunning admission she told Vanity Fair: 'I have never felt truly cherished by a lover. I have an inability to know what happiness feels like with a man.'

This may come as some surprise to new paramour Taylor Kinney. The singer has been linked to the Vampire Diaries actor for several months.

Gaga, 25, pictured on the cover of Vanity Fair in a stunning red concoction with a matching headdress said that while her romances start out full of promise, they rarely last

She said: 'I have this effect on people where it starts out good.

'Then when I’m in these relationships with people who are also creative, or creative in their own way, what happens is the attraction is initially there and it’s all unicorns and rainbows. And then they hate me.'

Gaga said she’s endured emotional break-ups that have been followed up with impromptu proposals.

But her typically candid response is: 'How f***in’ romantic, you a**hole. Sure pop a ring on my finger and make it all better.

The multimillionaire singer said: 'I can buy myself a f***in’ ring!'

Gaga was believed to have been engaged to ex Luc Carl.

Yet during and interview with on The Graham Norton Show in May, she announced: 'No, I don't have a boyfriend and haven't been on any dates recently.'

Their on/off romance came to an end several years ago, before rekindling their relationship temporarily in July 2010.

At the time she said: 'I've really never loved anyone like I loved him. Or like I love him.

'That relationship really shaped me. I sort of resolved that if you can't have the guy of your dreams, there are other ways to give love.'

But maybe the truth is simply, that the self-confessed workaholic has said her career will always come before a man.

And if she had to choose before love and music - Gaga, whose fans are known as her 'Little Monsters' said she'd pick them every time.

And it seems her addiction to life in the spotlight could be the root cause of her relationship problems.

She added: 'If I’m supposed to end up like some crazy casualty, then that’s my destiny. I love show business. I need it. It’s like breath.

With the world at her feet, and a bank balance to much, it's no surprise that Alpha female Gaga can be intimidating to potential suitors.

'Perhaps it’s a "whose d**k-is-bigger" contest.

'If I go to the piano and write a quick song and play it back, they are angry with how fast and effortless it is.

She added: 'I think what it really is, is that I date creative people. And I think that’s what intimidates them is not my purse, it’s my mind.'

The singer revealed that one past love Gaga warned her she’ll end her days as a lonely old woman.

'You will die alone in a house bigger than you know, with all your money and hit records, and you will die alone,' he said.

But she added:'That’s who I am, and I don’t apologise for it. But it’s a hideous place to be in when someone that you love has convinced you that you will never be good enough for anyone.'

The lonely star said: 'I only know the happiness of putting a smile on someone’ s face from the stage.'

Never-before-seen photograph of Wills and Kate shows their excitement at engagement

With wide smiles, they can barely conceal the excitement of their newly-announced engagement.
In this never-before-seen photograph, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge appear close and relaxed – thrilled by thoughts of their impending big day.

The photograph, taken by Mario Testino, graces the July cover of Vanity Fair.

It includes further portraits by Testino, such as the iconic picture of Princess Diana in 1997.

The Peruvian photographer took William and Kate’s engagement pictures at St James’ Palace last November.
Though William, Prince Harry and the Prince of Wales have all turned to Testino for pictures to commemorate milestones, the celebrated fashion photographer had never before captured Miss Middleton.
But speaking to U.S. Vogue, he said he already felt ‘very confident’ she would be an ‘easy sitter’ because of her natural grace.

And last week, speaking at a gala in his honour in New York, the 56-year-old said he understood why he was chosen to take the photographs.
Testino, a close friend of Diana’s, said: ‘I guess it was a way for them to keep William’s mother in the whole process of it.’

Despite the pressure of the shoot, Testino said the Duchess ‘looked fabulous’ and that the couple exuded ‘sheer happiness’.

He added: ‘They are a young couple in love.’

The edition will lift the lid on the couple’s house-hunting and who does the chores around their Anglesey home.
It describes the pair’s giggles as they watched their nuptials back on television, and recounts the moment Michael Middleton realised the relationship was serious – when Prince William arrived at his Berkshire home by helicopter.
It also recalls the rather surprising requests the pair had for their honeymoon suite – including Philadelphia cream cheese and Brussel sprouts.
The July issue of Vanity Fair will be on news-stands on June 3, ahead of the newly-weds’ trip to Canada and California in July.
