The champagne would have been flowing freely as they embarked on their first night as popstars at The X Factor aftershow held at the five star Corinthia Hotel in central London.

But with chart success comes hard work - and Little Mix were no doubt nursing hangovers as they woke up at the crack of dawn today for their first post-show interview.

By 7am, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall had already tweeted that they were at the Daybreak studio ready for their chat with Kate Garraway.

They wrote: '@daybreak getting made up for the show. It's too early! Thanks so much for all your support #littlemixers we love you.'

During their conversation with Garraway, Essex girl Nelson said their victory had not yet sunk in, revealing: 'I don't think it is ever going to sink in. Every week, we prepared ourselves to go out.'

Pinnock, 19, added: 'When he (Dermot O'Leary) said Little Mix, it was "My gosh, this is just insane!"'

Last night, the quartet made history as the first girlband ever to triumph on Simon Cowell's series.

The Syco boss was busy tweeting his support for the girls, despite not starring on the panel this year, saying: 'Congratulations to @LIttleMixOffic. And Paula as you can see, groups can win this show!

He added: 'I was really hoping a group would win this year. @OfficialTulisa has done a great job. These girls could be stars.'

Following their stint on Daybreak, the girls also visited the famous sofa of This Morning and Lorraine.

Jade told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that they had spent time with their loved ones after winning the competition, before heading to bed in preparation of their busy day.

She said: 'We got a nice little cuddle from our mums, spoke to Tulisa and then went to bed.'

Leigh-Anne added: 'From the beginning, I never really saw myself in a girlband. I didn't want to be in one. Then they put me in one and I could not be on my own now.'

The redhead also revealed they had received flowers from a certain lady called Geri Halliwell and credited Tulisa as 'the most amazing person' who they 'wouldn't have got this far' without.

While Perrie and Leigh-Anne remained in their stage costumes last night, baby of the group Jade, 18, slipped into jeans, a red puffer jacket and Ugg boots after initially performing in a festive dress.

Jesy, 20, also switched outfits, changing out of her gold leggings in favour of leopard print.

Mentor Tulisa Contostavlos continued to show her support for her 'Little Muffins', attending the party.
She too changed out of her awkward attire that proved difficult to walk in and squeeze into her judging seat, by opting for a simple navy frock with black Mary Janes.
The N-Dubz beauty also had her say on Twitter, writing: 'I know its cheese but I swear down,2nit (sic) has shown me, if u really believe in sumin n want it bad enough it can happen,u just need 2 believe.

Obviously there weren't enough canapes at the party, as she later said: 'what do ya do after ur act wins the xfactor?...go 2 ur local kebab shop of course, wooooiiiiii....LOVE U #LITTLEMIX keep it real.'
Little Mix's debut single Cannonball is expected to be the Christmas No1, although excitement is already brewing that the girls may record a duet with Tulisa.

The 23-year-old revealed on The Xtra Factor: 'There’s been talks but I’m not one hundred per cent. I would love to do this and when I release my album we might re-record that as a single and put it on.'

During the final, each judge joined their remaining act for a duet, with Tulisa and the band singing a mash-up of Alicia Keys songs If I Ain't Got You and Empire State Of Mind.

This morning Jesy's mother said that her daughter's band winning 'felt like a dream.'

The police community support officer from Canvey Island, Essex, said: "I woke up this morning and had to ask myself, "am I dreaming or did Little Mix really win The X Factor last night?".

'The best part of it all isn't the winning, it's the positive comments that the girls have had from their fans.

'They are four ordinary girls but they have had so many letters from teenage girls and boys telling them how inspiring they have been.'

She added: 'I think one of the things Jesy's most excited about is meeting Simon Cowell. Apparently, he really likes Little Mix and she's desperate to meet him.'

Runner-up Marcus Collins put on a brave face as he attended the swish venue, with Craig Colton offering some consolation squeezes.

In keeping with her pink theme, teenager Amelia Lily clutched a bright neon bag despite losing the candyfloss tint and going back to her peroxide locks.

The 17-year-old reached the final and performed with Kelly Rowland on Saturday night, but was eliminated from the competition leaving just Marcus and Little Mix to sing last night.

However, the Destiny's Child star didn't materialise last night at the party.

She was criticised on Saturday for abandoning Lily at a crucial time and rushing out of the X Factor studio to support her favourite contestant Misha B during her first live show at G-A-Y.

The Xtra hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack joined in the festivities, with 32-year-old Flack deflecting attention from her romance with One Direction star Harry Styles, 17, by attending with a male friend.

'People are saying it's disgusting... I don't think it is': Cougar Caroline Flack on age gap between her and One Direction star Harry Styles

After much speculation of are they or aren't they, Caroline Flack has finally broken her silence on toyboy Harry Styles, 17.

The 32-year-old presenter received death threats on Twitter from diehard One Direction fans, warning her to steer clear of their idol.

But the Xtra Factor host maintains she has done nothing wrong and that people simply 'aren't accepting of big age gaps'.

Caroline said: 'I feel like I shouldn’t have to worry about what I do. But it’s a social thing that people aren’t accepting of big age gaps.'

Defending the 15 years between them, she told Now magazine: 'I keep thinking, "What have I done wrong?" But I haven’t done anything wrong.

'What’s hard for me to get my head around is people saying it’s disgusting. I don’t think it is.'

The pair first sparked speculation of a romance back in October, when they shared a kiss and were caught on camera flirting during the reality series spin-off show broadcast on ITV2.

Floppy-haired Harry was later quizzed about the tender moment, which can be seen in the video below, squirming awkwardly in his seat and failing to deny the accusation while quipping that Caroline is 'hot'.

Last month, the pair were seen sharing desserts at a restaurant in St Martin's Lane Hotel, London, before leaving together in the same taxi.
Caroline added: 'Some people tend to see the negative immediately and that’s what I find strange.

'If two people like each other and get on, why does anyone else find a negative in it?

Regarding the death threats, she said: 'It’s a form of bullying from people who are hiding behind a computer. I knew they were just a minority of One Direction fans and all very young – it’s a kind of fanatical obsession.

'I can’t take it seriously or I’d never come out of my house.'
'He (Harry) told me, "Don’t listen to Twitter". So he became the mature one at that point.'

At the time, Caroline took to the social networking site and wrote: 'Hi One Direction fans! To clarify. I'm close friends with harry.. He's one of the nicest people I know...I don't deserve death threats. :) x.'

In 2009, Flack was rumoured to be dating Prince Harry, but she later claimed he was just a friend who she confided in following the breakdown of her three-year relationship with The Holloways drummer Dave Danger.

Television bosses will need to hire Cilla Black to host the next series of X Factor, as the show seems to have turned into a dating game.

Amelia Lily, who made the final three last night along with Marcus Collins and Little Mix, is said to be seeing One Direction singer Niall Horan.

The couple met on the show at the end of last month, as the boyband and JLS performed with the finalists on charity single Wishing On A Star.

Despite initially spending more time getting to know Horan's bandmate Harry Styles, the blond popstar made a beeline for the rock chick.

A source told the Daily Mirror: 'Niall and Amelia met backstage after One Direction performed on the show.

'Although Harry spent most time with her, it was Niall whose eye she caught. Niall can be pretty shy but he made his feelings clear.

'After swapping numbers, they were texting all week and met up on a secret date in London where they kissed for the first time.'

Niall, 18, was tweeting his support for the former pink-haired beauty during Saturday's show, writing: 'round one goes to miss amelia lily for me! cmon little mix ,not a disaster they will kill it next song! they lookin good tonight.

'little mix and amelia deffinate (sic) finalists! love them.'

The insider also revealed Niall has been trying to organise a triple date for him and his new girlfriend, along with bandmates Harry and Zayn Malik.

Floppy-haired Harry is currently dating The Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack, who at 32 is 15 years older than her 17-year-old toyboy.

Despite both of them deflecting attention from their blossoming romance, the Mirror today reports that they categorically 'ARE' an item.

'Things are getting serious between Harry and Caroline,' said the source.

'They are always running off to grab five minutes over the phone and secretly arranging to meet up.'

However, after Flack received a barrage of abuse on Twitter from die-hard 1D fans, she has been keeping a low profile.

At the time she defended herself on the social networking site, saying: 'Hi One Direction fans! To clarify. I'm close friends with harry.. He's one of the nicest people I know...I don't deserve death threats. :) x.'

Malik is now dating Little Mix beauty Perrie Edwards, after they also met on the show during the group ensemble performance.

JLS and One Direction joined the contestants onstage on November 27, after they were called in at the last minute by Simon Cowell in a bid to boost sales on the track in honour of Together For Short Lives.

There may be 15 years between them but it seems that age is nothing but a number to Caroline Flack and Harry Styles.

The One Direction singer has shared a passionate kiss with the 32-year-old star and now it seems the pair enjoyed dinner together on Tuesday night.

Styles, 17, believes he's found 'the one' according to his fellow band mate, Louis Tomlinson, but his fans are less fond of her as the star has apparently been receiving death threats.

Scroll down to watch a video of Harry talking about Caroline

Flack took to her Twitter page this morning to deny the rumours saying: 'Hi One Direction fans! To clarify. I'm close friends with harry.. He's one of the nicest people I know...I don't deserve death threats. :) x.'

Hardcore fans of the boy band, and Styles in particular, have been out in force on the social networking site over the past 24 hours.

Many have been making humorous comments and digs at the news, whilst others have been supporting Flack - insisting that those who post death threats are giving them a bad name.

One fan was obviously so fed up of hearing the rumours that they write: 'I don't even care anymore. If Harry wants to date an oldie let him be.'

Other fans joked about the age gap by saying: 'it's okay, I'm close friends with the toddler down my road too.'

But others decided to stick up for the TV star with matty1dir tweeting: 'If you love harry ... You wont give @carolineflack1 any of this! She said they are friends :) thats it! H wouldnt want you being nasty!'

The rumours were fueled when The Sun revealed that Flack and Styles were seen sharing desserts at a restaurant in St Martin's Lane Hotel in London and were being very open about being out together.

'They were clearly enjoying being together and didn't seem to care who saw them,' said a source.

'Two other friends joined them while they were eating, but it was clear they only had eyes for each other.'

However their night didn't end there, as Styles and Flack were seen getting into the same taxi and leaving together - something else they weren't bothered about hiding.

The Xtra Factor host was first linked to the boy band member last month after it emerged that they had kissed whilst on a night out.

But it seemed it was more than just a kiss to Styles as he took to his Twitter page to write: 'Sometimes things happen and you suddenly get a whole new outlook on life.'

Things seemed a bit awkward between the pair on last weekend's show as Flack and her co-host, Olly Murs, interviewed One Direction.

'Close friends': Flack was pictured hugging One Direction's Niall Horan after the band's appearance in The X Factor but she stayed away from Styles

And Styles hinted at his love for older women when he was asked which of the current female contestants on the show was his favourite.

'They're all a bit young for me,' he replied, even though they are all the same age of older than the boy bander.

Unfortunately though his comments have angered the group's hardcore fans and has forced Flack to deny their close relationship.

This is not the first time Flack has been linked to a Harry as she was reported to have had a brief relationship with Prince Harry two years ago, but he is believed to have called time on their romance after he revealed he was still in love with his heiress ex Chelsy Davy.

More than just a record deal: Styles may have enjoyed success with One Direction following the X Factor but it seems he may have found 'the one' too

The wow factor: Little Mix get a red carpet make-over and switch their casual fashion style for some grown up glamour

First they changed their name and now they have changed their look.

The X Factor's Little Mix looked like a different group altogether as they arrived at the UK premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 at Westfield Stratford City, in east London.

Under the watchful of eye of their mentor, Tulisa Contostavlos, the girl band hit the red carpet looking like they had already won the singing competition.

The new mature look for the girls was a departure from the slouchy clothes viewers are used to seeing them perform in on the ITV show.

19-year-old Leigh-Anne Pinnock wore a black mini dress with thick gold lining and her red hair was pulled up elegantly.

Jesy Nelson, 20, who also has red hair, opted for a black sequined play-suit which she accessorised with a large belt and over-the-knee socks.

Jade Thirlwall, who has been finding the criticism of her weight difficult to cope with, cut a trim figure in a navy blue dress with chiffon arms.

The 18-year-old is the youngest member of the band but looked full of confidence as she took to the red carpet.

Blonde Perrie Edwards, 18, wore a classic little black dress by Versace with gold detailing to complete the transformation of the group.

X Factor judge Tulisa continued the dark colour scheme by wearing a feathered skirt and a black leather top.

Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack also attended the premiere and wore a dark blue velvet play-suit with a white baby doll collar but there was no sign of her sidekick, Olly Murs.

Kelly Rowland's three girls, Janet Devlin, Misha B and Amelia Lily attended but their mentor was in Manchester at a BBC Children In Need dinner.

Attending blockbuster movie premieres has become somewhat of a staple for X Factor contestants as last year's finalists went to see the final Harry Potter film and got to meet Daniel Radcliffe.
