She began her career in the early 80's at just 16-years-old.
But almost three decades later, Cindy Crawford proves that she still has her supermodel figure as she poses for a new campaign for Deichman Shoes in the middle of a busy New York street.
The 45-year-old beauty looked stunning as she showed off the sexy curves that made her famous in her heyday, by slipping into an aubergine Herve Leger bandage mini-dress for the shoot on Tuesday.
Still super: Model Cindy Crawford proves she has still got it as she poses for a photo shoot for Diechman Shoes in New York yesterday
The brunette stunner paired the frock with a cropped black leather jacket and grey suede lace-up stilettos, and had her long dark hair coiffed into voluminous waves which fell over her shoulders.
Her flawless complexion would be the envy of a woman half her age and she displayed her long, toned legs that only great genetics and a lifetime of workouts could perfect.
Cindy was one of the original supermodels alongside Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Claudia Schiffer, and Christy Turlington who reached the peak of their careers in the early Nineties.
The star recently said she felt sorry for today's models as she thinks it's much harder to be one these days.
She said the girls on the runaway and in magazines are shrinking and haven't got the curves of their predecessors.
'I just saw the CoverGirl commercial with Taylor Swift and I thought, "Wow, it is so hard for models to get a job these days".

'You have to sing and act, too. There doesn't seem to be as much work specifically just for models.
'And I also think when I was modelling, size 6 (UK size 10) was a normal size and now it's like 2 (UK 6) or 0 (UK 4).'
She firmly believes that it is ok to look older, and has forgone using the various fillers and botox available to women these days to slow the ageing process.
'I don't look the same as I did 20 years ago, nor should I. Sometimes I get that little pang, like "Oh, bummer, I wish I did". But at the same time, I see my children and I see them growing up and I look at my husband and the marriage that we've worked on and have together, and if all that is good and working, it's a lot easier to be kind to your little fine lines or where gravity's gotten the better of you.'
Cindy has been married to businessman Rande Gerber for almost 13 years and they have two children, Kaia, nine, and Presley, 11.

Recently she said she wanted to set a good example to her daughter and make her realise that you don't have to be skinny to be beautiful.
'Having come from the world I come from and you know having to maintain a certain weight for most of my career which fortunately hasn't been too much of a struggle...I don't want my daughter to think, "wow I have to deprive myself in order to be pretty".
'So if we go have ice cream as a family I will order an ice cream. I don't usually eat the whole thing but I don't want her to associate being pretty to being thin. It's really a balance, I can be an example by living it.'
