Press Release – HOT NEW GIRL BAND FANFAIR ARE “THE WANTED” SUPPORT ACT AT HAMILTON PARK

Emerging girl group Fanfair have been confirmed as the support act The Wanted at the boyband’s live concert at Hamilton Park on July 22.

The UK and Ireland four-piece – Roberta, Anara, Jessica and Aimee – will warm up for the headline act in front of a packed Scottish crowd during the standalone Friday night gig.

It completes the line-up for Hamilton Park’s back-to-back gigs with The Wanted supported by Fanfair on the Friday night (July 22) before Wonderland set the scene for Westlife’s performance 24 hours later (July 23).

Vivien Kyles, Chief Executive of Hamilton Park, said: “With our two major summer concerts just weeks away it’s great to have Fanfair on board to support The Wanted and complete an amazing weekend line-up with Westlife and Wonderland in town the following night.
“With general standing area tickets for both concerts available for just £50 it has to be one of the bargains of the summer and we look forward to Fanfair being the first on stage for what will be one of the most memorable weekends in Hamilton Park’s history.”

The signing of Fanfair only adds to a sizzling July at Hamilton Park. As well as the two concerts featuring The Wanted and Westlife on July 22 and 23 respectively, Hamilton Park also hosts a star-studded Family Night on Saturday week (July 9). On the billing are 2011 BGT finalists Ronan Parke and New Bounce, as well as 2010 X Factor finalists Katie Waissel and Paije Richardson.
