They both gave every task their all, but it was finally time to say goodbye for Coronation Street Star Antony Cotton and Olympian Fatima Whitbread on last night's I'm A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here.
Antony was the first of the four to be told he would be going home, having managed 21 days of camp life.

Disappointed that he didn't make it to the final, he told Ant and Dec 'I'm absolutely gutted.'

As Antony predicted, Fatima wouldn't be taking the crown home either, and a short while after his exit, Ant and Dec made their way back to camp to announce her elimination.

Before Fatima bid the camp farewell though, Antony opened up a little more about his jungle experience.

'We've come this far and I'd never even thought about the final until last night, so I'm gutted but I did all I could do and I'm amazed I lasted this long,' he said.

Ant and Dec then commented on Antony's emotional highs and lows whilst he was in the jungle.

'Every part of it was emotional and exciting,' he told them. 'You can't plan for it.

'You feel like you're locked in and you cant run away anywhere.'

The hosts then asked Antony if he thought being friends with Mark was something that would never have happened in ordinary life.

'Our paths probably would never have crossed,' he said. 'It was so fascinating to watch people in there.'

But someone who he wasn't so keen to watch was Fatima, but Antony said that they're relationship could have been a lot worse.

'I have been relatively tight lipped,' he told Ant and Dec, who laughed at the comment.

'I have watched what I've said in there.'

The soap star finished his interview by telling Ant and Dec that he wants either Mark or Dougie to win.

Fatima also looked gutted when she realised she hadn't made it to the final but was comforted by Mark who told her she should be proud of herself.

Despite being so competitive, the former athlete did admit that she was surrpised she's also made it this far.

'There were some strong contenders in there this year,' she told the hosts.

But the conversation soon turned to the subject of a roaming cockroach.

'It shot up my nose straight away,' Fatima told them, referring to a past Bushtucker trial.

'But quitting was not an option,' she added.

Ant and Dec commented about her positive attitude and determination, to which she replied: 'That's been my career for over 30 years.'

'Ever since I was 11, I wanted to be a sportsperson. That's been my way of life and it's the only way I know.'


But even when Fatima was asked about the various run-ins she had with the different celebrities, she had a strategic answer.

'We're all different characters and personalities, but Ive always believed to be true to yourself.

'I speak my mind in a diplomatic way.'

The mother-of-one even had kind words to say about Antony: 'I've grown to love him, he's a good man but he's larger than life.

'I did feel sometimes he would like to skive a little bit from doing the washing up.'

She had even kinder words to say about visitor to the jungle, Peter Andre.

'I'm absolutely made up, it was a dream come true for me.'

Fatima finished her interview by saying ultimately she wanted to Mark to win the show saying: 'Both of them are bosom buddies.'

But regardless of leaving the jungle one day before the final, both Antony and Fatima admitted that they had had the best time of their lives on the show.

Yesterday all four camp mates took the time to reflect on their experience in the jungle and it seemed that none of them were disappointed with the outcome.

'Jungle life has been the most wonderful experience I’ve ever had,' stated Fatima.
'I have a hard exterior but underneath I’m a softie. In the beginning everyone is tense you put up walls to protect yourself.

'The trials have been the best thing for me and failure wasn’t an option.
'I’ve got to know myself better; it’s brought me back to Fatima the person, being back in the jungle, I’ve got to quite like myself again. I can’t believe this has happened to me,' she added.
It's the Bushtucker trial that viewers most look forward to, but they're not the only ones.
The I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here contestants couldn't wait to take part in the group challenge, which finally saw rivals Fatima and Antony work together as a team.

Along with Mark and Dougie, the arguing pair faced Celebrity Cyclone where they tackled powerful water hoses, slime and fast winds as they attempted to win a meal each.

First up: Antony attempted the trial and had to grab all four stars

After watching previous series of the show they had a fair idea of what they were in for, with Dougie asking: 'So you think this is a bit strenuous?'

'Yeah its jungle typhoon!' Antony replied.

'So glad it’s not bugs and stuff,' Mark added.

Fatima prepared herself mentally for the challenge by singing to herself Eye of the Tiger, then they all then got changed into their superhero costumes and headed across the bridge to face the challenge.

Ant and Dec explained that there were four stars up for grabs and that they had to battle the elements to try and win them.

The aim of the game was to get one star on each of the markers on the course and each camp mate would need to have them their in place at the end of the ten minutes.

Antony was the first celebrity to face the challenge and had to grab all four stars and place them on the first marker.

As he attempted to keep them in place, Dougie then made his way towards him and grabbed one star from him and made his way to his spot a bit higher up.

As Mark set off as the third contestant to attempt the challenge he shouted: 'Oh my god what is going on?'

Wearing his pink superhero cape, he slipped whilst trying to grab the stars from Dougie but he succeeded in getting them but not before being hit in the face by a gym ball.

With only four minutes left, it was Fatima's turn next and after telling the group she had 'the most energy and speed,' she was determined to do her bit.

Superman: TOWIE star Mark ran up the hill but was soon slipping over

The former athlete was slipping and sliding as she made her way up and just as she's grabbed her star from Mark, a big gush of water pushed her down the slope and meant that she lost her star.

But it wasn't just her that got pushed back as so did the others and Mark also had to run back to the beginning to gain his star.

With only two minutes left, they worked hard to regain their places and Fatima powered through the elements getting to her marker with only one minute left.

As the klaxon went off and the foursome realised they'd done it, Mark shouted: 'Yes, we did it!'

Superwoman: Fatima was the remaining celebrity to tackle the challenge and had the furthest to go

Fatima was feeling particularly triumphant and punched the air, then laid down and let the water rush over her.

'Oh I loved it!' Antony shrieked whilst Mark smiled and said: 'That was one of the best things I have ever done - amazing.'

The Celebrities headed back into camp feeling very triumphant and happy that they would be eating well that evening.

But as they arrived back, they realised that the fire had gone out and Mark screamed when he found a leech on his underwear.

Not a quitter: Fatima punched the air when she realised that they had won the trial

'Oh my god it’s a leech,' he yelled, to which Antony replied: 'Keep an eye on it.'

But before long he had pulled down his pants and gave the critter a big flick.

However, Fatima wasn't bothered about the leech and still had her mind on the trial.

'What a triumphant day that was,' she said. 'Four stars, I can’t wait to get our meal tonight, I wonder what sort of meal we'll have?'

The may have been getting closer as the days went by but the romance between Mark Wright and Emily Scott has been forced to take a break.

Unexpectedly, the blonde model was the next contestant to leave the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here jungle meaning that her flirting with Mark would be no more.

The day before, Mark had only just been discussing how Emily was definitely his type but now the pair will have to put their intimate massages and hugs on hold until the warp party.

But Emily didn't deny that it felt good to leave: 'I feel amazing to be out. I've had the most incredible time in there.'

'I wanted to stay in as long as possible, but I'm proud of myself and proud of everyone in there.

The hosts then went on to ask Emily how she'd felt about being a latecomer in the camp.

'Everyone was so welcoming,' she said. 'They really made me feel comfortable.'

'I was trying to get to know everyone as quickly as possible.'

Ant and Dec then asked her if there was anyone that she was drawn to instantly and were obviously hoping for a specific answer, but as Emily reeled off the other camp mates, they finally asked: 'What about Mark?'

'Yeah Mark!' she replied.

'He's really sweet. He's cheeky but it was nice to get to spend time together away from the camp.

The pair then delved further and asked if she fancies him, and she answered 'yeah' straight away.

Emily then went on to speak about the challenges and trials that she had faced in camp and said it was all about eating.

'Everything is food in there,' she said. 'There's no way you can't come back with no stars.'

'Antony was quite protective of dinner and would get quite sensitive at times, but he was so creative with it and without him we would have had some dull dinners.'

She was then asked who she would like to see win the ITV show, and rather than saying Mark, she revealed two people who she thinks deserves the crown.

'I feel in my heart that it's a tie between Willie and Fatima,' she said.

'He's doing so well and Fatima just has the biggest heart.'

Ant and Dec then commented on the obvious atmosphere that was in the camp at that time and said perhaps it was good time for Emily to have left.

But at least she had fond memories of her and Mark together when they were chosen to go and complete the chest challenge together once again yesterday.

As they arrived at the challenge, they were greeted by a huge block of ice that had two swords encased in it.

Together they had to get the swords out from the ice but all they had to help them were two small hammers and a barrel of smelly water.

Perfect couple? Mark Wright has a new type now in the form of Australian Emily Scott

Glamour model Emily found the challenge quite hard but kept going, saying: 'It’s got to the point when it feels like home time but we’re never gonna give up, we can’t go back to camp without it.'

This prompted Mark to have a dig at the girls back home, when he said: 'Me and Emily are not quitters, that’s what I like about her, a lot of girls from Essex would give up, they don’t have that tough and ready to go attitude that Emily does.'

Perhaps it was Mark's kind words that kept Emily going, or the compliments that he was giving her earlier on.

As they walked through then jungle together, Mark complained that he was feeling 'hot, hot,' to which Emily replied: 'You are quite hot.'

This then prompted the TV star to say: 'I could walk for miles like this with your bum in front of me.'

'I saw your bum yesterday so only fair,' said Emily, referring to the naked wash that Mark had the day before.

Mark was pleased that he didn't have to wear a dress for the challenge like he had a few days before.

'I hope I haven’t got to wear a dress again, I know how to take them off but don’t know how put them on,' he smiled.

But this wasn't the end of their flirting as the pair continued to struggle with the Sword In The Stone challenge.

They began throwing the barrel of water over the ice in the hope that it would melt it, but when that failed, Mark had another idea.

'Shall I have a wee on it?' he asked Emily.

As he began to relieve himself on the ice, Emily asked: 'Is it a big one?, lots of steam coming off?'

'What do you mean is it a big one? Do you mean the wee or something else?' Mark replied.

The blonde laughed and said 'the wee.'

Mark's hard work finally paid off when the swords finally came out.

How will we do it? The couple were hot and tired as they figured out the best way to beat the challenge

As the pair cheered and cuddled one another, Mark said: 'I just got that sword, hammered away and eventually pulled out.'

Another couple to take part in a challenge was Willie and Crissy.

The older pair finally got the chance to do Bushtucker trial and were excited yet a bit nervous.

'I feel like a lion that’s gone out and come back to feed the cubs,' Crissy said, as her and her camp mate prepared to face Mystery Box.

'I’d rather be doing this trial with Crissy because in the background you will hear laughter and that will be the spur to keep going,' Willie said.

Success: Mark and Emily were glad to be taking the chest back to camp

The pair had to enter a giant black mystery box wearing blindfolds and inside the box were a series of different animals.

In order to win the stars they had to work together to identify the animals by touching them.

As Willie entered the mystery box he asked Crissy: 'Are you coming in? We have to work together you know.'

Crissy was at first reluctant to go inside but eventually joined her team mate.

The rangers brought out the first box for them to feel but Willie was in for shock when he touched the furry animal.

'Ow it bit me,' he shouted. 'The bloody thing bit me.'

And as he continued to touch the possum, he then shrieked: 'It’s a bloody monkey!'
Crissy was hesitant to have a feel and said: 'It could be a donkey,' but Willie ignored her and guessed that it could be a koala bear.'

Mystery Box: The pair had to wear blindfolds and feel a variety of animals to win the stars

However, when Crissy did decide to have a feel she stated that koala bears do not have tails and together then guessed it was possum and therefore won their first star for camp.

The next box contained an octopus, and when Willie put his hand in he said: 'Oh they sucked me!'

When he persuaded Crissy to have a feel, she asked: 'Is it a cockle?'

Eventually they came to the decision that it was a 'large leech or a water snail,' and lost the second star.

The following rounds saw them have to put a witchetty grub in their mouths, an ostrich bought into the box and a crocodile placed in front of them.

The pair finished the task having won five out of seven stars, and although they were disappointed to have lost out on two stars, they expressed their excitement at not going back to camp completely empty-handed.

They may have been feeling happy from their success and living the high life as royalty but their mood soon came crashing down when they had to spend the night in a deep dungeon.

They were called to the Bush Telegraph to try and guess who the Camp Traitors were and when they incorrectly said Fatima and Emily, they were taken to the dungeon.

'We’re wrong aren’t we? Oh god, we’re gonna be kidnapped,' said Crissy.

The pair were told that if they managed to spend the night inside then the camp would be rewarded at breakfast.

'No way, I’m not going in there, it’s pitch black dark, I’m claustrophobic, snakes, rats, cockroaches, I can’t do it,' said a worried-looking Crissy.

We did it: Willie and Crissy looked pleased as they guessed correctly that there was a possum in the box

She eventually entered the dungeon and joined Willie, saying: 'No fags, no water and I’ve got a T-shirt on.'

But when the pair emerged from the dungeon early and discovered that Antony and Dougie were the real traitors, they were really angry and said they were happy that the group wouldn't be getting a nice breakfast.

But before all of that, the traitors had been set their third and final mission - and this was the one that got the camp really wondering who was up to mischief.

They were told that they had to put the camp fire out and hide the group's luxury items, but as they did so they had to point the blame at someone else.

They made their way straight to the camp fire and emptied the water kettle on it so that it went out.

Willie later noticed that the fire had nearly gone out and commented on it which prompted Antony to quickly blame Fatima.
'It’s Fatima, she put too much water in the kettle and the water boiled over,' he said.
Later on the camp were discussing the various personal items that had gone missing, and Dougie
asked everyone to check under their hammocks.
'Hey guys, everyone’s stuff is in my bag, headband, gel, etc, who is doing this?' said Emily.
Fatima was quick to comment, saying: 'That’s out of order.'
Mark was convinced that it was Dougie who was playing a game on them, but the rest of the group defended the McFly star.
'Why would Dougie do it, it doesn’t make sense,' said Antony, defending his fellow traitor.

'I know it’s the second thing that looks like me but I promise it’s not,' added a worried Emily.

The camp mates then began to wonder if she was in fact guilty.

Mark then ended up holding the blame but defended himself, saying: 'It’s ridiculous to even blame me when I’ve been away doing the chest.'

But things were about to get a lot worse for Mark as his bromance with Antony came to an abrupt end.

Antony snapped at Mark over him not pulling his weight on filling the water bag, but Mark defended himself quickly saying: 'My job is the fire and the water, when I feel the fire needs water and it has completely gone out that's when you can say something to me.

This then led to Antony walking off and mumbling to himself: 'Mark will learn his own way and that’s the best way.'

Later on that evening Mark talked to Dougie about his water bag incident and argument with Antony.

Kiss and make up: The TOWIE star wasn't happy to be arguing with Antony and wanted to resolve things

'I am a little bit stressed tonight yeah f***** off with Antony really,' Mark told him.

'I got so close to him… and I am so close to him, he is like my big brother but he shouts at me. I feel like I can't do anything right around him just a bit scared now,' he added.

Mark then decided to approach Antony again and tell him that he didn't like him snapping at him, but this angered the Coronation Street star further.

'What a big fuss and nonsense over nothing,' he said.

'I don't want a fuss,' Mark replied. 'I like you and you know that don't you? We've got a good relationship, I didn't wanna hold it in.

End of the bromance: Mark had a small argument with Antony about his constant 'snapping'

'I do listen to you and, I look up to you a lot, you're such an intelligent guy.'

But the atmosphere was soon better as the group received presents from their loved ones due to Antony and Dougie successfully completing the traitor challenges.

Antony received a picture of his friends and family around the pool at the Versace Hotel in Australia along with a bottle of his favourite aftershave and a packet of jelly snakes.

Luxury love: Mark received some of his favourite toiletries and a photograph of his family

Dougie received a photo of his band mate Harry Judd, pirate hand puppets and some Oreo biscuits, whilst Mark also received a picture of his family, some toiletries and cookies.

Emily received a picture of her puppies, and some toiletries and chocolate.

Fatima was very emotional as she opened her gift which was a photo of her son.

'He’s changed; he’s pictured with Stefanie and Sinitta and looks really happy, she said.

Mark also seemed quite emotional as his bromance with Dougie reached a whole new level and the pair of them began planning dates with one another once back in the UK.

'We'll roam the streets of London, we’ll buy a Christmas album, come shopping with me for family and friends, and I’ll help you do Lara,' Mark told his new best friend.

'We'll go for mulled wine and see a Christmas film.'

Dougie was also very excited by the idea and said he couldn’t wait for the date.

Mark later said to him: 'I'd be upset if I lost contact with you, it’s not just in here, I get on with you in every way we’re the same age, I'd love to go out and continue being your good friend.'

Setting a date: Dougie and Mark decided that they will go Christmas shopping together and remain friends when the show finishes

'Oh sweet, we are definitely going to do loads of hanging when we get out. For some reason we get on,' Dougie replied.

But perhaps there's a new bromance to be had in camp as tomorrow night the group will be joined by former I'm A Celebrity contestant, Peter Andre.

The celebrities are going to be given a laminate announcing a day of treats, but in order to win their first treat they must all get up and dance in the style of music played into camp.

Some of the songs they will have to dance to will include Abba's Dancing Queen, Peter's Mysterious Girl, and Cotton Eye Joe.

At the end of their dancing, a large box will enter camp and inside it will be the pop star.

Peter will then spend the whole day in camp and his first mission will be to inform the celebrities that they have to come up with a new jungle song.

The group will be given instruments including bongos, tambourines, and a guitar and will have one hour to compose an original song and perform it to Peter to receive another treat.

After the possibility of enjoying another treat with Peter, the group will wave goodbye to him as he leaves the camp for good.

But it seems that Mark's mother is less interested in his bromance and more preoccupied with his blossoming romance - that has just come to an abrupt end.

According to new! magazine, Carol Wright has revealed that she thinks her son is better suited to the Australian rather than his ex-girlfriend, Lauren Goodger.

When asked by the weekly magazine if she thought Essex girl, Lauren, was feeling put out after she said Mark would get bored of Emily, Carol answered: 'Probably. That's what she's like.'

'Mark and Lauren are not right for each other,' she added.

'This experience will wither make him want to go back with her or he'll realise he wants a break.'

She also revealed that she would be more than happy for her son to date an Australian.

'He can marry an Australian, but she's got to come and live at home!' she said.

'Emily would enjoy herself in Essex. I wouldn't mind seeing her there.

'She's a DJ, so she could play in a few of the clubs.'

Mark's camp mate Dougie also has a feeling that things might progress between the TV star and Emily and was enjoying some boy talk with him about it.

'I bet when we get out something will happen,' he told Mark. 'That would be epic.'

'I'm delighted, I've got so much to do': Stefanie Powers is the first to leave the I'm A Celebrity jungle but doesn't seem bothered

She was the bossiest camp mate in there so it was no surprise that Stefanie Powers was the first person to go home in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

The 69-year-old actress looked elated at hosts Ant and Dec told her she would be leaving the Australian jungle today.

'I'm delighted,' she said as her camp mates hugged her.

Was it a dream? The 69-year-old seemed a little overwhelmed after her interview

'I've got so much to do, it's the best thing that could have happened.'

The red head then made her way across the bridge to talk about her time in the jungle where she said that she felt she had made her point.

'I came in here for two reasons,' she said. 'To be a poster girl for survivors of lung cancer, and to raise awareness for charity.'

When Ant and Dec asked Stefanie how she kept so calm during the trials and challenges, she simply answered: 'Because the bugs don't bother me.'

And when she was asked about what she thought of her fellow camp mates who were not so calm, she didn't seem annoyed or bothered but instead praised Sinitta.

'She's done so well in there,' she said. 'She's even managing to sleep normally without the canape over her head.'

The Hart To Hart star also said that the reason she was so calm is because she had prepared herself for what was to come.

'I watched clips of your show on Youtube,' she said. 'So I knew what to expect.'

The hosts then showed Stefanie a clip of her when she first arrived in the jungle and had to travel to the camp by canoe with Dougie Poynter.

The U.S. star laughed after watching the video where Dougie sarcastically said that she wasn't 'bossy at all.'

You can stay: Lorraine Chase looked happy despite being in the bottom two with Stefanie

Stefanie was in a vulnerable position after her team lost in last night's Bed Bugs challenge and were therefore not immune from the public vote.

When Ant and Dec arrived in the camp this morning, they announced that it was between Stefanie and fellow actress Lorraine Chase, but soon revealed it was Stefanie who had to pack her bags.

The actress - who had several run ins with her camp mates over her 13 days in the jungle - seemed like she didn't want to spend much time saying goodbye and kept repeating how happy she was to be leaving.

But despite not getting on with everyone, when the group had their last meal together yesterday before the first elimination, Stefanie managed to give a rather heartfelt speech and continued it in the Bush Telegraph.

'We all have this connection, and this connection will carry on way beyond being in here,' she said.

Goodbye: The rest of the celebrities waved off Stefanie as she left the jungle for good

The TV star quickly made her way across the bridge as her fellow camp mates waved her off and when finished her interview she looked exhausted as she made her way towards the photographers and her waiting family amidst the fireworks that were going off.

No other camp mates are now immune from elimination and as soon as Stefanie left the jungle the lines re-opened for the British public to vote to save their favourite celebrity.

Another famous face will leave the jungle on tomorrow night's show.

It just wasn't meant to be Mark: I'm A Celeb star's head massage comes to an abrupt end as Emily discovers a tick in his hair

He may have had a steamy rumble with his ex-girlfriend before he went into the jungle but Mark Wright has forgotten all about that.

The Only Way Is Essex star was seen enjoying an intimate moment with Emily Scott tonight on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

But the tender moment soon came to an abrupt end as Emily discovered a tick in his hair only five minutes after starting the pampering session.

The pair have been flirting ever since the glamour model walked into the camp, but tonight they took things one step further.

The moment began when the both of them were sitting on the sofa together.

Mark made the first move by asking Emily if she was good at giving head massages.

'I might be, are you?' she said.

'No, I’m not,' he replied but Emily stayed quiet so he continued by saying he'd swap her a head massage for a shoulder massage.

'Can you do them?' asked Emily, to which he responded: 'I’m phenomenal at massages.'

The TV star then rested his head on Emily’s lap before asking: 'Is that your boob or belly?'

'My boob,' smiled Emily, as Mark closed his eyes for five minutes and enjoyed five minutes of her massage.

But it was soon interrupted by something rather unpleasant.

'Is that a lump on your head, you’ve got a tick,' said Emily.

'No way,' shouted Mark. 'Why me? Leeches, a snake under my bum eating something, I’ve had them all, anything and I will get it,' he added.

He then dashed off to the Bush Telegraph to get checked out.

'Thanks for that, I was really enjoying that massage,' he told the cameras.

However, Mark was totally oblivious to someone else who seemed to be rather involved in his and Emily's moment.

As he closed his eyes and let the blonde star work her magic, The Real Hustle star Jessica-Jane Clement could be seen keeping a close eye on the pair.

The former glamour model - who is engaged to famous hairdresser, Lee Stafford, looked miserable and appeared to be rather gutted that she was missing out on the pampering action.

And funnily enough, as soon as Emily spotted the tick, Jessica-Jane was the first celebrity to lean in and take a closer look.

Crissy Rock also examined Mark's head and Fatima Whitbread accompanied him to the Bush Telegraph where he expressed his disappointment at the massage coming to such a quick end.

Perhaps the pair will continue their beauty treatments tomorrow when boredom is sure to kick in once again.

'It was horrendous, it nearly killed me!' Pat Sharp attempts another I'm A Celebrity trial but struggles to win enough food for camp

He may have triumped in his first Bushtucker trial, but tonight Pat Sharp wasn't so lucky.

The famous DJ was voted by the British public for a second time to show his bravery on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here and he gave it his best shot.

The 50-year-old managed to win eight stars for the camp - which was three less than what he got at the beginning of the week, and this time his fears got in the way.

'It nearly killed me!' Pat Sharp attempted a second Bushtucker trial called the Bushman's Bungalow

The trial was set in a deserted shack set by a lake, complete with an ancient bushman rocking on a rocking chair on the veranda outside.

Pat had only two minutes in each room, during which he had to find the stars, and come face to face with the jungle inhabitants of the shack.

Pat tackled the Bushman's Bungalow as best he could but only managed to get two out of three stars in the first round in the bedroom after rummaging through drawers and cupboards, all of which were full of cockroaches and other insects.

After he’d finished in the bedroom he confessed to hosts Ant and Dec that the snakes had really 'freaked him out.'

In the living room, Pat was met with lots of rats as he searched for more of the yellow objects but only found one this time.

The former Fun House presenter was talking all the way through the trial and at one point shouted: 'This Trial is tough!'

He then made his way to the kitchen where he searched frantically for more stars, plunging his hand into a sink of eels.

Everything he opened seemed to contain mealworms and there were flies buzzing around everywhere but he still failed to find all of the stars.

Next he had to look around outside next where a rusty old bathtub contained baby crocodiles.

There was also a bandicoot in a box, and Pat even searched the bushman himself in his quest to earn meals for the camp.

Finally he had to get into a boat contacting old fish and row to a buoy which had a star attached to it.

However, when his two minutes began, Pat jumped straight into the water and swam to the buoy.

When his time was up he emerged from the water looking exhausted and was seemed eager to get back to the camp.

'It was a hideous ordeal,' he told the other celebrities. 'It involved horrible carcasses, rats, bandicoots, it could not have been more horrendous – it was very, very, very, very difficult like you can’t imagine, it nearly killed me.'

Later that day Pat made his way into the Bush Telegraph and said: 'I think they were pretty pleased with me.'

McFly star, Dougie Poynter added: 'It sounded like a horror film or something, I would have been hopeless at it.'

But if Dougie and the rest of the group thought they were safe, then they were very, very wrong.

Bed Bugs: The camp mates had to spend the night in beds filled with rats, bugs and snakes in order to gain immunity

In order to gain their teams immunity, the group had to endure the Bed Bugs challenge.

The blue team felt like they already had an advantage as Sinitta was feeling so nervous.

But Anthony Cotton kept positive saying: 'Team orange are going to do their best.'

The Only Way Is Essex star, Mark Wright, predicted that he wouldn't do so well in the sleeping session - and he was right.

'I've got absolutely no chance, I might as well just quit now,' he told his team.

He turned into a mad emotional wreck screaming for Dougie to help him during the fright filled overnight challenge.

Of course Sinitta became the first celebrity to shout 'I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here' when fear got the better of her.

The orange team were at a disadvantage for only winning one of the three previous Beat the Bugs rounds starting with just 30 minutes on their clock as opposed to the blue team who had earned themselves an hour.

The team that managed to clock up the most hours were set to win immunity from the public voting them off.

Each team were allowed to pick what critter to place in their opposing team’s beds, so the orange team immediately decided rats for Mark, while the blue team chose cockroaches for Sinitta and snakes for Antony.

A very scared Sinitta took her time before getting into bed claiming the night was like a 'Freddie Kruger movie.'

'I don't feel like I can do it,' she told the group, whilst Fatima Whitbread tried to encourage them with a stern look.

She tried to shield herself with a blanket against what was going to appear through the holes but was soon shouting to get out – and was sent back to camp.

'As we approached our beds I felt my legs go and I thought I’d pass out,' she said.

'I couldn’t breathe properly and it reminded me of when I was a little girl and my mum used to have to search under the bed, beds are supposed to be safe places and this was my worst nightmare.'

Next to climb out of bed was Antony who was freaked out by having three large snakes in with him - especially when one went to toilet on his leg.

'Oh god, oh god, my plan has backfired and I’ve now got a snake on top of me,' he said as the python stretched out the length of the soap star. 'Get me out; I can’t cope with them anymore,' he pleaded.

Wearing his bandana over his face, Mark squealed for most of the night saying: 'Dougie, I can’t do this,' as more and more rats ran into his bed.

'I’ve got to get out, I can’t sleep, they are my worse thing in the world, they are crawling into my pyjamas, they are getting more confident, I can’t do it!

'I’m going to be sick, they stink and are doing poos all over my bed. This is the worst thing I’ve had to do, ever.'

Someone else who found it difficult but managed to fight it was glamour model, Emily Scott.

She spent the night with lots of crabs but soon had a panic attack and started sobbing.

'I don’t like being in the box, I’m claustrophobic, I fell asleep but when I woke up my heart started going but I will stay,' she said.

Benidorm star, Chrissy Rock, was the first of the blue team to leave her bed after bravely bearing hundreds of cockroaches pouring over her and crawling into her ears, she laid completely still all night in focused silence.

'I’m freezing and I feel like Beetlejuice,' she said.

Former athlete, Fatima, endured rats nibbling at her and was called Ratima by her camp mates, whilst Willie Carson got all giggly and twitchy with cockroaches in his bed.

U.S. star, Stefanie Powers, was also accompanied by crabs and Willie said to her: 'I wish I had crabs,' which led Antony to warn him to be careful what he wished for.

As dawn rose over the jungle, the remaining celebrities were released from their boxes and returned to camp.

The results were read out by Pat who told the group that his team, the blue team, were the winners and were immune from the public vote.

But the whole group were happy when their food arrived later in the evening and Anthony decided it would be best to boil the leg of goat.

But although he always insists on cooking, the TV star felt that the rest of the camp were being lazy by not helping him.

'Some people are very good at doing nothing, I don’t include Crissy in that because she uses all her energy to entertain us and make us laugh,' he said in the Bush Telegraph.

'There are other people that just don’t seem to do much or want to, I’m not naming names, that’s for the others to decide but it does grate a bit.'

He then went on to talk about the state of the camp and commented on how messy it was: 'It looks like we're on some kind of hippy student backpacking retreat where everyone's just chilling out.

'I'm a doer and I have to get up and do things otherwise you'd go mad,' he added.
