Happy to be home, ladies? Jessica-Jane Clement and Fatima Whitbread arrive back from the jungle to their home comforts

They've spent the past three weeks sleeping rough in the jungle, living on meagre food rations and surrounded by all sort of creepy-crawlies.

So it was no wonder that Jessica-Jane Clement and Fatima Whitbread looked delighted to be back in London, no doubt ready to embrace their home comforts.

Jessica-Jane beamed at the cameras as she made her way through Terminal 5 at Heathrow airport, with her hairdresser fiancé Lee Stafford by her side.

In skinny jeans, towering peep-toe heels and a leather jacket, the 26-year-old looked refreshed after her long-haul flight from Australia.

Fatima, 50, looked equally delighted to be home and waved at the cameras and gave a thumbs-up.

As she walked alongside her son Ryan, she held up a small plastic tub containing the cockroach that had been up her nose during one of the Bushtucker Trials.

The Olympian also looked like she'd lost weight having left the jungle looking a lot slimmer than when she first walked in.
She and Jessica were followed off the plane by their fellow contestant, DJ Pat Sharp, who looked very tanned as he pushed his case through the airport.
He was joined by his wife Monica who stopped with him to pose for pictures before making their way home.

Also on their flight was presenter Declan Donnelly, who Tweeted a picture of himself from his first class seat holding up a glass of champagne.

The night before he Tweeted another picture, but this time it was one of him standing in between Jessica-Jane and Emily Scott at the show's wrap party, and he looked delighted to be in the position he was in.

Australian model Emily spent a lot of her time in the jungle engaging in a rather flirtatious relationship with The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright, who was runner-up to winner Dougie Poynter.

She even said she would love to visit Mark in Essex and met his family when they jetted over to Australia to welcome him out of the jungle.

Emily and Mark were said to be inseparable at the show's wrap party, but according to reports today, Mark has dismissed their jungle romance as a bit of fun, leaving Emily fuming.

According to the Daily Star, Emily fled home in a mood after Mark reportedly ended all chance of a relationship between them.

Emily is due to visit the UK later this week but she said she will not be chasing Mark but would like to see him and added: 'We'll have a catch-up. I wouldn't say date, but we are definitely friends.'
The model now has her sights set on fellow Aussie Peter Andre, who joined some of the celebrities in the jungle and said: 'I've got the whole world to choose from now, not just the camp. I would love to meet Peter one day, that would be super-cool.'

'I'm absolutely made up, it was a dream come true for me!' Fatima Whitbread gushes like a teenager over Peter Andre, as she and Antony Cotton are evicted from the jungle

They both gave every task their all, but it was finally time to say goodbye for Coronation Street Star Antony Cotton and Olympian Fatima Whitbread on last night's I'm A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here.
Antony was the first of the four to be told he would be going home, having managed 21 days of camp life.

Disappointed that he didn't make it to the final, he told Ant and Dec 'I'm absolutely gutted.'

As Antony predicted, Fatima wouldn't be taking the crown home either, and a short while after his exit, Ant and Dec made their way back to camp to announce her elimination.

Before Fatima bid the camp farewell though, Antony opened up a little more about his jungle experience.

'We've come this far and I'd never even thought about the final until last night, so I'm gutted but I did all I could do and I'm amazed I lasted this long,' he said.

Ant and Dec then commented on Antony's emotional highs and lows whilst he was in the jungle.

'Every part of it was emotional and exciting,' he told them. 'You can't plan for it.

'You feel like you're locked in and you cant run away anywhere.'

The hosts then asked Antony if he thought being friends with Mark was something that would never have happened in ordinary life.

'Our paths probably would never have crossed,' he said. 'It was so fascinating to watch people in there.'

But someone who he wasn't so keen to watch was Fatima, but Antony said that they're relationship could have been a lot worse.

'I have been relatively tight lipped,' he told Ant and Dec, who laughed at the comment.

'I have watched what I've said in there.'

The soap star finished his interview by telling Ant and Dec that he wants either Mark or Dougie to win.

Fatima also looked gutted when she realised she hadn't made it to the final but was comforted by Mark who told her she should be proud of herself.

Despite being so competitive, the former athlete did admit that she was surrpised she's also made it this far.

'There were some strong contenders in there this year,' she told the hosts.

But the conversation soon turned to the subject of a roaming cockroach.

'It shot up my nose straight away,' Fatima told them, referring to a past Bushtucker trial.

'But quitting was not an option,' she added.

Ant and Dec commented about her positive attitude and determination, to which she replied: 'That's been my career for over 30 years.'

'Ever since I was 11, I wanted to be a sportsperson. That's been my way of life and it's the only way I know.'

But even when Fatima was asked about the various run-ins she had with the different celebrities, she had a strategic answer.

'We're all different characters and personalities, but Ive always believed to be true to yourself.

'I speak my mind in a diplomatic way.'

'It's my way of life': Fatima explained to Ant and Dec that she is always positive and motivated in whatever she does

The mother-of-one even had kind words to say about Antony: 'I've grown to love him, he's a good man but he's larger than life.

'I did feel sometimes he would like to skive a little bit from doing the washing up.'

She had even kinder words to say about visitor to the jungle, Peter Andre.

'I'm absolutely made up, it was a dream come true for me.'

Fatima finished her interview by saying ultimately she wanted to Mark to win the show saying: 'Both of them are bosom buddies.'

The four superheroes: Antony, Mark, Fatima and Dougie were excited to be taking part in the Celebrity Cyclone

But regardless of leaving the jungle one day before the final, both Antony and Fatima admitted that they had had the best time of their lives on the show.

Yesterday all four camp mates took the time to reflect on their experience in the jungle and it seemed that none of them were disappointed with the outcome.

'Jungle life has been the most wonderful experience I’ve ever had,' stated Fatima.
'I have a hard exterior but underneath I’m a softie. In the beginning everyone is tense you put up walls to protect yourself.
'The trials have been the best thing for me and failure wasn’t an option.
'I’ve got to know myself better; it’s brought me back to Fatima the person, being back in the jungle, I’ve got to quite like myself again. I can’t believe this has happened to me,' she added.
It's the Bushtucker trial that viewers most look forward to, but they're not the only ones.
The I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here contestants couldn't wait to take part in the group challenge, which finally saw rivals Fatima and Antony work together as a team.

Along with Mark and Dougie, the arguing pair faced Celebrity Cyclone where they tackled powerful water hoses, slime and fast winds as they attempted to win a meal each.

First up: Antony attempted the trial and had to grab all four stars

After watching previous series of the show they had a fair idea of what they were in for, with Dougie asking: 'So you think this is a bit strenuous?'

'Yeah its jungle typhoon!' Antony replied.

'So glad it’s not bugs and stuff,' Mark added.

Fatima prepared herself mentally for the challenge by singing to herself Eye of the Tiger, then they all then got changed into their superhero costumes and headed across the bridge to face the challenge.

Helping hand: Dougie was the second camp mate to climb up the slope and had some help from Antony

Ant and Dec explained that there were four stars up for grabs and that they had to battle the elements to try and win them.

The aim of the game was to get one star on each of the markers on the course and each camp mate would need to have them their in place at the end of the ten minutes.

Antony was the first celebrity to face the challenge and had to grab all four stars and place them on the first marker.

As he attempted to keep them in place, Dougie then made his way towards him and grabbed one star from him and made his way to his spot a bit higher up.

As Mark set off as the third contestant to attempt the challenge he shouted: 'Oh my god what is going on?'

Wearing his pink superhero cape, he slipped whilst trying to grab the stars from Dougie but he succeeded in getting them but not before being hit in the face by a gym ball.

With only four minutes left, it was Fatima's turn next and after telling the group she had 'the most energy and speed,' she was determined to do her bit.

The former athlete was slipping and sliding as she made her way up and just as she's grabbed her star from Mark, a big gush of water pushed her down the slope and meant that she lost her star.

But it wasn't just her that got pushed back as so did the others and Mark also had to run back to the beginning to gain his star.

With only two minutes left, they worked hard to regain their places and Fatima powered through the elements getting to her marker with only one minute left.

As the klaxon went off and the foursome realised they'd done it, Mark shouted: 'Yes, we did it!'

Fatima was feeling particularly triumphant and punched the air, then laid down and let the water rush over her.

'Oh I loved it!' Antony shrieked whilst Mark smiled and said: 'That was one of the best things I have ever done - amazing.'

The Celebrities headed back into camp feeling very triumphant and happy that they would be eating well that evening.

But as they arrived back, they realised that the fire had gone out and Mark screamed when he found a leech on his underwear.

'Oh my god it’s a leech,' he yelled, to which Antony replied: 'Keep an eye on it.'

But before long he had pulled down his pants and gave the critter a big flick.

However, Fatima wasn't bothered about the leech and still had her mind on the trial.

'What a triumphant day that was,' she said. 'Four stars, I can’t wait to get our meal tonight, I wonder what sort of meal we'll have?'

'It was like going up against Rambo': Pat Sharp latest victim to leave I'm A Celebrity... after losing out to Fatima in grisly Bushtucker trial

She is an Olympic champion with nerves of steel, he is a former children's TV presenter -no wonder Pat Sharp looked slightly on edge when he was told his jungle survival depended on beating Fatima Whitbread.

And not surprisingly it was Fatima who triumphed in the latest Bushtucker trial, meaning the 50-year-old DJ was evicted from the Australian camp.

But it wasn't all plain sailing in the trial, called ‘Fill Your Face - Extreme’, after a cockroach crawled up Fatima's nose.

Because Pat and Fatima, 50, received the least number of public votes and went up against each other in the Bush Tucker Trial ‘Fill Your Face - Extreme’.

The Olympic champion had just had 7,500 cockroaches poured into her Perspex helmet when one of the critters crawled into her nose.

The trial was halted as Fatima felt the cockroach crawling around her nose and she tried in vain to blow it out naturally.

A medic had to be called to syringe her nasal passage and after a couple of attempts it sluiced the creepy crawly through her nose and out of her mouth.
At the start of the trial, Ant and Dec asked how they were feeling. Fatima said: 'What will be will be…I am certainly not ready to go home yet and I will give it a good go'.

Not relishing the prospect of going up against an Olympic athlete, Pat said: 'I would like to stay as well, I think I have done ok so far in everything I have been asked to do, my mate here agrees we have known each other a long time.

'It is going to be difficult going up against her in anything. Not even just the physical but she also has the mental strength of an athlete'.

The object of the trial was to put on a plastic bubble helmet which would be filled with various jungle creatures and stand in it for 30 seconds to score a point. There were five rounds and the person that scored the most points wins and goes back to camp and feeds the camp.

It was decided in a coin toss over who would go first with Fatima winning and strategically decided to go first. Inside the helmet Fatima faced soldier crabs, which she remained focused and won a point. When asked how that one was Fatima smiled: 'Not too bad that one…not too bad'. Pat attempted the same round appearing more nervous but also won an equal point.

Close call: My hands are tied: The tie-breaker challenge involved digging into a box of meal worms and slime and competing to find three stars with their mouths and hands tied behind their back

It was then Pat’s turn to go first in round two and this time they had to face meal worms, crickets and scorpions. Pat looked petrified when asked how he was feeling by Ant and Dec and replied 'Never better'.

When asked how she was feeling Fatima chanted: 'bring it on!' and added 'it’s not a problem…I enjoyed it I am in the zone'.

Round three Fatima turn was up and was asked by Ant and Dec if there was anything she wouldn’t like she replied: 'I don’t like things that bite…I will deal with it I am not going to give in'.

Pat replied: 'I am going to try my best I am up against a world champion but whatever I have been here before'.

Pat was then straight into round four and had to endure five snakes.

But it wasn't a unbearable defeat as Pat managed to go to deadlock against Fatima.

He said: Look I am up against the toughest woman in the world and I don’t just mean in sport…living with her is just like living with Rambo no offence she is tough I am going to try my best'.

Fatima then went into the fifth and final round and needed to endure 7,500 cockroaches and struggled when one got up her nose. She shrieked: 'I can feel it wriggling in my nose'.

Eventually the critter was freed when Dr Bob placed a water syringe up her nose.

Pat then decided to compete against Fatima in the final round and reached a tiebreaker with both winning the five points.

The tiebreaker challenge involved Fatima and Pat digging into a box of meal worms and slime and competing to find three stars with their mouths and hands tied behind their back.

Fatima got stuck in there and found all three making her the winner and Pat now evicted. Fatima on her win claimed: 'when it is head to head you just have to get in there and work until you get to the end there is no point stopping'.

As he left the jungle Pat said he wanted his pal Mark Wright to be crowned King of the jungle.
