Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson stuck two metaphorical fingers up to her Twitter abusers tonight.
The X Factor star belted out a rendition of Christina Aguilera hit Beautiful, along with her bandmates, as each act sang for survival by singing TWO songs each.
Since starring on the show, Nelson, 20, has received a barrage of online hate from people making fun of her weight and comparing her to Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall.
Could they win? Little Mix performed an incredible rendition of Christina Aguilera song Beautiful and got praise from the judges
The lyrics of the song refer to struggling with personal issues, with the lyrics saying: 'I am beautiful, no matter what they say. Words can't bring me down.'
They initially opened the show with a mash-up of Justin Bieber's Baby and The Supremes track Where Did Our Love Go, set against the backdrop of a fifties diner.
Dressed in tutu skirts galore and an explosion of candyfloss colours, the girls put on a spectacle, but as a result the judges thought their vocals were lacking.
Insecurities: Jesy Nelson has suffered Twitter abuse regarding her weight, saying the song Beautiful means a lot to her
Things looked bleak when Louis Walsh said: 'I thought last week you were incredible, but this was a little lacklustre. You need to pull something more about the bag if you want to stay.
'A little bit of girl power! I want them in the final, I just think they can do better.'
Kelly Rowland, the only judge to still have three of her acts in the competition, said: 'I felt like some of you were concentrating too much about the dance steps.
Soulful: Jesy and Jade, along with Perrie and Leigh-Anne, put their emotions into their second song
'It would have been great to hear Jesy beatbox more. You need to nail it.'
Surprisingly Gary Barlow confessed to 'really enjoying it' and credited it as 'a great opening to the show'.
However, it was during the second song that that won over the panel and appeared to secure their place in the semi-final next week.
Pass the tissues! The girls looked visibly moved after their performance
Jesy began to cry as she sang her final note, which set Kelly off with the waterworks.
The Destiny's Child star said: 'You have no idea how much I want to see you at the top of the charts. You are all so unique that when you come together it's so special.'
Gary credited the strength of their success on their relationship instead of the music, adding: 'You have friendship and it's a real key ingredient for a successful band.'
Breaking records: Little Mix are the only girl group to have made it into the top five on X Factor
And the girl group could be in line to take the crown from the Spice Girls, having been given advice from Mel C.
Sporty visited the group backstage, telling the quartet they reminded her of when the Spice Girls first started.
Perrie told the Sunday Mirror: 'It was the best compliment ever, we couldn’t believe it!'
Leigh-Anne added: 'She told us the golden rule was to always remember each of us has a role in the group. If one person stands out as the leader or the star, then that doesn’t mean any of the other band members are less important.
'She said we were all vital to the band and Little Mix wouldn’t be whole without all of us in the group.
'They are our inspiration as they were fresh and funky. They all had their own individual character and style, just like us. I’m the scary one with a bit of bite and attitude. Jesy’s the sporty one, Perrie’s the crazy one and Jade is like baby as she is sweet and girly.'
