It was another testing day for So Macho star Sinnita as she was picked to complete two more Bushtucker trials.
Having been chosen for the Hell-evator task she said that she hoped that people were choosing her to help her face her fears, but reckoned 'Some of my friends are voting for a laugh – let’s make Sinitta suffer.'
And it appeared that this was indeed the case, as she was later picked by viewers to face the first gruesome live task of the series in the Horror-ds shop.
Hell-evator: For the first Bushtucker trial of the night Sinitta was lowered into a pit of water to retrieve stars from holes full of creepy-crawlies
Horror-ds: Sinitta was forced to hold live creepy-crawlies in her mouth for her second- live- trial of the day
Sinitta gamely said 'I've missed shopping' as she readied herself for a second ordeal.
There were stars on offer in different 'departments' of the store, with the first being the jewelry section.
Sinitta had to retrieve bangles from the back of a snake, which she managed to do, collecting two stars for camp.
The pressure is on: With her celebrity camp mates cheering behind her, Sinitta had to retrieve a bangle from the back of a snake
Dreading it: 'I don't know if I can go underground, and underwater and lock in and holes and stuff all at the same time' said Sinitta as she prepared to be lowered down into the pit
This was followed by a food counter, where she had to hold various gruesome creatures in her mouth for 20 seconds apiece.
Failing this, Sinitta was moved on to the luggage department, where she refused complete the task of catching stars from cases hanging above her.
Anthony rather unhelpfully commented: 'I'd have done this with no trouble.'
The watching celebrities sang So Macho to Sinitta as she moved on to the next challenge- reaching for stars in a tank full of eels, a baby alligator and other bugs.
Hysterical: Sinitta's vocal chords were well-exercised throughout the task, as she refused to stop shrieking
Written all over her face: Sinitta's absolute terror was plain to see as she ventured underwater
After grabbing another meal for the camp, Sinitta then moved on to Santa's Grotto, where she had to unwrap 'presents' full of bugs to find stars inside.
Running out of time, Sinitta was forced to miss the next few tasks, moving to the toy department, where she managed to find a star in a 'ball pool' full on gunge.
Her five star total was an improvement at least on her earlier effort, when she picked up only two stars in the horrible Hell-evator task.'
Rapid exit: When she touched one of the creatures she she screamed 'I'm a celebrity, get me out of here' and was raised out of the pit
Sinitta was locked in an elevator which would descend underground into a pit which was filled with water. On the walls of the pit were eight holes, each containing at least one star.
'I don’t know if I can go underground, and underwater and lock in and holes and stuff all at the same time' said the pop singer after the task was explained to her.
The singer screamed as she was lowered into the dark pit full of water, ignoring Ant and Dec's advice to check where the holes in the walls where stars being guarded by various creepy-crawlies were.
She tried to bolster herself, telling Ant and Dec: 'I’ve got to try and do something. It’s actually worse than I imagine.'
Not her best: Sinitta was in a fit of panic before the task had even started, and afterwards admitted 'I think if Simon had been watching that he just would have said "Pathetic. Next"'
A button let Sinitta turn on an 'unreliable' light to see what she was doing, but the sight of a few waiting toads was enough to throw her into a fit of anxiety, and she continued to emit ear-splitting shrieks as she attempted to win meals for the camp.
She attempted to win 12 stars for dinner, reaching into holes in the walls of the pit, but was hysterical as she tried to retrieve those hidden underwater- which unbeknownst to her were guarded by baby alligators.
Touching one of the creatures, she screamed 'I'm a celebrity, get me out of here' and was raised out of the pit.
Cautionary measure: Sinitta blocked her nose before descending into the Hell-evator
As she emerged she exclaimed: 'That was the hardest thing I've done in my entire life.'
'I think if Simon had been watching that he just would have said "Pathetic. Next."'
'Oh dear, the shame. I got a feeling of dread. It’s getting my mind over that and doing it. The camp won’t be impressed and I’m not impressed either. I don’t want to go back.'
Beat The Bugs: Orange and Blue teams battled it out to win immunity from the upcoming elimination
Upon Sinitta's return to camp Anthony comforted her with the words: The main thing is you went in there and you did it.'
Over in the hut meanwhile Jessica was more realistic, shrugging 'she needs to toughen up a little bit.
Celebrities were later told that they would have to live in teams for the next couple of days as they competed in the Gameshow Challenge for immunity in the first elimination.
Surreal: Dougie Poynter, Pat Sharp, Antony Cotton and Willie Carson took part in the darts game, hosted by Ian Smith of Neighbours fame
Stefanie and Pat were the leaders of the Orange and Blue teams, which they picked themselves.
Stefanie went for Fatima, Antony, Willie, Lorraine and Sinitta, while Pat chose Mark, Dougie, Jessica-Jane, Emily and Crissy.
Clearly miffed with his team mates Anthony sniped: 'Oh I don’t know. I ’m with the old duffers. I’m with Team Saga. Saga Holidays. Over 70s. I’m sad I’m not on Dougie and Mark’s team but we’ll just have to push forward won’t we.'
Gunge for the losers: Poor Fatima Whitbread was drenched after her team lost, her offer of throwing darts having been ignored
Sparing no vitriol, he added: 'At least I’m not on that tedious f*** Pat f***ing Sharp’s team!'
Pat was frank about his motives for choosing Jessica-Jane and Emily, saying: 'If there are some pretty girls and there always are it’s always good to have a gander. Tarzan didn’t spend his whole life swinging in the trees. He also checked out Jane.'
He later amended his explanation however, adding: 'My choices for the blue team were picked on the fact I went for strength and age to be honest. Mark looks like a strong guy. He’s our Fatima Whitbread.'
Quite a shock! Pat and Anthony were electrocuted when the opposing teams got the answers to various trivia questions correct
The celebrities' first challenge was called Dart Attack, hosted by Ian Smith- or Harold Bishop to Neighbours fans.
The orange team lost- which meant that they spent the night in the Sin Bin.
Claustrophobic Anthony had trouble adjusting to the confined place- still covered in the gunge which had been poured over them when they lost their task.
Cosy treat: The victorious blue team enjoyed hot chocolate and brownies that evening...
... While the defeated Orange gang spent the night holed up uncomfortably in the Sin Bin
The victorious blue team took delivery of dinner – a crocodile’s foot with vegetables, while control freak Anthony called through the Sin Bin letterbox; 'show me the food!'.
They also enjoyed a treat of brownies and hot chocolate, which they were forbidden to share with the orange team.
Mark had an unlikely fan in Lorraine, who confessed: 'When I first saw him, he took my breath away. I couldn’t believe he was so handsome. Those looks. Extraordinary aren’t they?'
Not happy: Anthony complained that he suffered from claustrophobia as they settled into their dank temporary abode
