With Harrods dominating the high street, Knightsbridge is usually a spectacle of designer dresses and immaculately preened socialites.

So Rihanna raised a few eyebrows when she dined at Nozomi restaurant in a pair of tatty, ripped jeans.

The Russian Roulette singer completed the casual look with an oversized black sleeveless sweater and a bandana for her hair.

Despite emerging from the London eaterie at 1am in the pitch black, the Barbadian beauty also kept her eyes concealed behind her shades.

The Grammy-winner, however, did seem to spruce up her outfit with a pair of black and white heels that added a feminine touch to the attire.

She also generously applied lashings of red lipstick, giving the illusion of a glamorous outfit with very little effort.

The 23-year-old star is currently on UK shores to play a string of arena shows across the country for her Loud Tour.

She kicks off proceedings tonight at the O2, before heading to Manchester, Glasgow and returning to the capital in December.

Rihanna has just revealed the title of her upcoming album which will be called Talk That Talk.

Her first single from the record, We Found Love, features Calvin Harris.

The Good Girl Gone Bad star also seems to have taken her former album title literally, in a new candid interview for the November issue of Vogue.

Speaking of the offensive c-word expletive, she said: 'That word is so offensive to everyone in the world except for Bajans.

'You know African-Americans use the n-word to their brothers? Well, that's the way we use the c-word.'

She added: 'When I first came here, I was saying it like it was nothing, like, 'Hey, c...,' until my make-up artist finally had to tell me to stop.'

Rihanna also spoke about her real personality versus her alter ego, saying: 'That's not me (her stage persona). That's a part I play.

'It's like it's a piece of art, with all these toys and textures to play with.

'They want me to be a role model just because of the life I lead. The things I say in my songs, they expect it of me, and [being a role model] became more of my job than I wanted it to be... but I just want to make music.'
