Nicole Scherzinger gets ready for a summer soaking as she launches her drizzling new single Wet

The thought of Nicole Scherzinger in the shower is something that that many men will probably not be able to - or want to - get out of their heads.

So this image is bound to loosen some ties and get pulses racing for quite a while.

The pop star released a very sexy photo ahead of the release of her new single Wet and appears to show her in the shower.

Clutching a net round her body, she looked sensational in her taupe two piece as she stared wistfully off into the distance.

Of course - and unfortunately for her male admirers - Nicole wasn't actually taking a shower at all but teased her fans by standing behind a wall of water.

The still was taken from the video for her new single which is released on August 28.

It is the follow-up to Right There and both have been taken from her debut album Killer Love.

She managed to film the video during a rare day off from her busy X Factor schedule which has now on hold until the show starts next month.

Nicole was initially announced at one of two co-hosts of the show alongside Britain's Steve Jones but she ended up replacing Cheryl Cole on the judging panel alongside Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid.

Last night, as her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton helped celebrate McLaren teammate Jenson Button's Hungary Grand Prix in, Nicole went dancing in Los Angeles.

She was snapped with a male friend as she left a nightclub.

And she still managed to look stunning even in her casual attire of ripped jeans, flip flops and a baseball cap.
