New 90210 star Megalyn Echikunwoke makes a good first impression as she sizzles in a tie-dye bikini

Given that the cast of hit LA-based series 90210 is notorious for its outrageously good looks, any newcomer might be forgiven for feeling a little daunted at the prospect of filming a sexy beach scene.

But Megalyn Ecikunwoke looked cool as a cucumber, sauntering around the set yesterday in a teeny pink bikini that flaunted her rocking curves.

The actress is set to appear in season four as lead character Naomi Clark's (played by AnnaLynne McCord) new rival.

This is the fourth season of the iconic series, following the established cast (along with some new faces) into the worlds of college and work.

Megalyn will play Holly, a student at California University.

This may prove a light change of pace for the 28-year-old actress, probably best known for her role as Dr Price on CSI: Miami 2008-9.

Though Megalyn remained 'in costume' for the whole day, she wrapped up warm in a long coat when she was off camera.
The coat was left open however, allowing onlookers a view of her stunning beach body.

The actress clearly isn't one to skip a workout, as her toned abs and long lean legs testified.

She was smiling and seemed completely at ease with co-star AnnaLynne- hopefully a sign that the actresses will get on better than their characters.
A rival will certainly add to the stress for wealthy and over indulged Naomi.

The cast all looked happy to be back on the beach, with series regular Shenae Grimes, who plays aspiring actress Annie Wilson, joking about playfully with the other cast members and onlooking fans.
